During our road trip to Campbellford, we stopped at the Ice Cream Café for a cool refreshing treat on a hot day after enjoying a delicious meal at D’s Modern Caribbean restaurant.
Upon entering we were met with the delightful aroma of freshly made waffle cones – which come in chocolate or Vanilla. The smell was intoxicating and very inviting.
The Staff & Owner were very friendly and engaging – happy to discuss all of the various options with us – including the many ways you could enjoy your ice cream. Cones not only come in chocolate or Vanilla, but also dipped in chocolate and sprinkled (if you wish)
We all had something a bit different – including the many options of flavours of Ice Cream.
They toss a few mini marshmallows in the bottom of the cone – which just enhances your enjoyment of the ice cream cone.
This spot is a little ‘hidden’ - I definitely didn’t even notice it – but luckily one of our gang of 5 had an eagle eye. Otherwise we may not have discovered this hidden gem in Campbellford. We took our cones to the riverfront and enjoyed them as we watched the boats going up and down the trent river as we looked at the Big Toonie.
I didn’t take any photos – but trust me – if you are looking for ice cream in Campbellford, this is the spot to go.

Ordered a Medium Ice Cream Cake for my friend's birthday. We got salty caramel truffle and gold medal ribbon with caramel topping and chocolate oreos in the middle!OMG! It was amazing! Everyone raved about the perfect flavour combination.Ordering and pick up was made super easy by their online form and Cathy was quick to answer any questions I had.10/10 would highly recommend.Full Disclosure, this is probably the 5th ice cream cake we've had from there. Peanut Butter Chocolate is also an excellent option!

Great little ice cream shop for custom birthday cakes. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughters birthday, and Cathy was so quick to respond to any questions I had. The ice cream was delicious, the requested theme was well done, and all my party guests loved it!

Love tge ice cream....who doesn't. Excellent service. Thanks.
What lovely people and the ice cream and sorbets are great
Good service. Not a huge selection of flavours but nice to see both Kawartha Dairy and Central Smith here! The ultimate crossover episode. Good variety between your basic chocolates and vanillas as well as the more adventurous flavours like moon mist and green tea. Healthy servings and not terribly overpriced like some ice cream stores are. No seating so just ate in the car.
Their kawartha dairy is bomb — I’m not sure what brand of ice cream their other stuff is but not my cup of tea. It seems gritty and not creamy at all.
