Food was very good, server was chewing gum which I strongly disagree with. The bill included the gratuity and I was then prompted to add tip if 15, 18 or 20% despite already being automatically charged
Absolutely awful meal!! Paid $95 for a meal that was supposed to be seafood with linguini. I've been married to an Italian for nearly 50 years so I do know that was not linguini. My meal was a pile of torn up lasagna strips with one small scallop and 3 small shrimp. It looked like it had sat in a fridge as a leftover then reheated in a microwave. And did I mention they charged $95 for that ??! Mohawk Woodbine should be ashamed of serving that especially on their most prestigious race night.
Fantastic night at the races. Chicken wings , nacho's, and 3 cheese appetizers. All were fresh , hot , and delicious. The patio is a perfect location for a date , up close to the track .
The service was lacking for most of the night. We were a table of 10 celebrating my wife's birthday. Our friends ordered appetizers and they didn't bring out their ceasar salad but instead brought their main courses out while others were mid way through their apps. the rest of the group in our party of 10 had to wait another 15 - 20 minutes for their main courses. This is when they realized their mistake and brought the salad out after they were basically full. Also the sever would disappear for stretches on approx. 30 mins. without checking if we wanted to order more drinks or other items. He was kind but not very attentive for most of the night and they didn't seem to be short staffed. We asked for our bills because we wanted to go trackside to watch a few races and it took 20 minutes to get the bills. He told my friends he removed the ceasar salad but it was still on the bill which was a $19 salad. Also watch out as they add an automatic 18% gratuity so make sure you don't tip extra unless you have exceptional service. The menu options were fairly limited and the food quality was a little lacking in my opinion. A lot of deep fried lower quality bar food and they serve potato wedges instead of regular fries which were pretty horrible in my opinion. Don't think we will be back for dinner again when we paid $105 for a chicken sandwich with a side salad and a pound of wings with wedges and 2 alcoholic drinks. Could probably get that meal for $65-70 elsewhere and get a better quality meal and service.
I go to Mohawk often and dine regularly at the other dining choice at Mohawk (Harvest Kitchen). The Trackside is not up to Mohawk standard. It is marked uo, uncomfortable and visibility is poor. The food was good and the service excellent (our severer was REALLY excellent), but the area itself could best be described as "rough". I was glad I was there with a good buddy, not my wife or a business colleague. Also, they lost my reservation. I didn't appear anywhere in the system even after confirming a day ahead. I needed to go to the car to get my hone to prove I had a reservation......
We had a very nice waitress. Turn around time to receive food orders was lengthy. We ordered the $10.00 sherbet. The amount we received was the size of maybe a little more than half of the size of a golf ball in the 2 flavours. Very disappointed...for $10.00...very over priced. I found the glass coffee mugs did not retain any heat and the coffee was cold before you got 3/4 of the coffee drank.
Excellent seats outside, server Momma D was awesome! Food was very good! As the restaurant got busier the service was slower, waited on desserts for quite a while but no fault of our awesome and very friendly server! Outside on the patio with the best table!
Unfortunately I booked at the wrong restaurant. Really wanted the buffet. However we went with the flow. Service was slow, food was just "ok", nothing special at all. The burgers from outside have been better. Atmosphere and ambiance was ok, nothing special. Noise level was as expected for the location and type of venue. Most disappointing was the price for mediocre offerings. I indicated on the booking that it was for a birthday celebration, and that was not acknowledged at all. It will definitely be a long time before we dine there again.
Very long wait for food after we ordered The waitress stopped by to apologize saying there was an issue in the kitchen . Later when I tried to order a drink I was told I would have to wait until the barman returned . The drink I ordered , has been permanently removed from the menu yet remains on the menu . Not once did the manager stop by to offer any apologies. I noticed that there has been several changes in management recently and I can honestly say that service , food , and the total experience has suffered.
Had the best smash burger ever. I'm very small and surprised it was a double burger. Never finished one in my life but I did this one. Highly suggest this place

The pork brisket was very dry, we had to go get our own mustard and kaetchup for the burger, service was slow, we asked for a coke and had to go ask the bartender , we asked for extra salsa for the nachos it never came. Stewart the waiter was nice but forgetful and sorry ....slow, I tipped 18 % and everyone at my table was shocked that I left a tip at all. Sorry not going back soon....the race betting was fun.
Always a great time with the our favourite waitress “Dee” . Her warm smile and personality turns a good experience into an outstanding experience. Dee makes menu suggestions and never misses coming up with something special just for us . She makes you feel special and appreciated, like family. The new menu items are a hit and we enjoyed every bite .
Overall was good. Waitress had many tables but wasnt around as often as I would have liked. Food was solid. Accommodated us by moving us to a table with a TV. Would definitely recommend.
Track side tables had a great view of the finish line. We were there on a Tuesday pre race (6pm) Not busy at all. Service was excellent not sure why open table would not allow me to make a later reservation, lots of availability all evening. The spinach "antioxidant" salad (with chicken) was amazing. Highly recommend
Always a good time and great meal while watching the races Todd ( manager) always stops by and ensures everything is perfect . Most of the servers are young but they do a fantastic job . The rib meal is fantastic
