Ordered chicken fingers and fries that was fine seen the carrot cheese cake and thought yum.didnt realize until I got home and checked my bill .8 dollars for a piece of cheese cake ,that's insane .good luck I will never be back .my bill was 46.00 dollars so 16 dollars for two pieces ,plus tax,tip.and chicken fingers and fries. Your insane for those prices.good luck.

This place is the pits. Have been three times. First time OK. Second time on a Sunday morning my wife and I waited 20 minutes and never even got a menu or water. We left. Today Sat a friend and I went for breakfast. We arrived at 9:00 am we placed our order with a waitress at 9:05. A very simple order - usual for breakfast. At 9:45 we still did not have any food. Several other clients entered and received their orders while we twiddled our thumbs. When complained to the staff we were told to leave the premises. We did! BTW, I will never cross the doorway again and the owner and I will both be happy. Lousy business people.

Always have a wonderful experience here, the staff and atmosphere are both one of a kind! Food is always great, my favorites are the fish * homer drool noises * and the pizza's! Highly recommend trying both!
Kid-friendliness: Great choices on the kids menu and the restaurant is always genuine with my kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: Seperate wheel chair accessible entrance and bathroom with several additional accessories. I.e grab bars, bathroom assistance or emergency bell, etc

Enjoyed great food and entertainment at the Rustic Spoon tonight. It was very busy with Cory Coons & Kevin Eamon playing live music. Whenever they are playing, I recommend you call early to reserve a table. All our meals and desserts were delicious. Service was excellent. We will go back for the breakfast special bit not tomorrow as we are too full! Great restaurant in Cardinal with a gas station and Circle K and LCBO and Home Hardware and Dollar store beside, for anyone stopping as they travel along hwy 2. I highly recommend stopping in for made from scratch food and great hospitality!

Went for lunch today with my family, had the fish sandwich and clubhouse. It was absolutely amazing, definitely reccomend if you're in the area or looking for somewhere new to try. Will definitely be back and try the desserts as well. Food and service were both great!

We had the pleasure of having dinner at The Rustic Spoon on Saturday September 14 2024. There were 8 of us in total- 4 kids and 4 adults. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The food had that unmistakable touch of home-cooked goodness. The owner and staff truly elevated the experience. The passion for the restaurant was evident in every detail, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the personalized attention given to each guest. The staff were equally impressive—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being intrusive. Their genuine hospitality made the evening even more special. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in creating an exceptional dining experience, and it made all the difference. It’s rare to find a place where every aspect—from the food to the atmosphere—comes together so seamlessly. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
