Gilly's Snug Harbour Restaurant & Marine

Very disappointing. Made the drive out from Waubamik. The caesar salad lacked enough dressing - no flavour. The panfried pickerel was very good but the rice tasted like it had been refried to heat up and serve. The coleslaw would have been excellent but was starting to sour. Not a freshly cooked meal. And the small glass of water was not refilled once. Lack of service - unless it’s reserved for their regulars? 😢

We dinned on the dog friendly patio where not only did we have great service and food, but our dog also was created with a drink of Georgian bay tap water and her own meal consisting of carrots, beef patty and smoked fish skin. Over all this was friendly, clean environment with great food portions of fresh food as-well as service with lots of smiles!

Excellent food, even better service. Mitchell was super friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Going to Gilly's has become a tradition of ours after a weekend of paddling around Franklin. 10/10 recommend.

The best fish and chips for miles. A great atmosphere and views of Georgian Bay

Our first time here from killbear park! It was so yummy, we will be back next year when we are camping again! We had Ava as our server who was super helpful and offered great service even when it was super busy. We had deep fried pickerel and it was the best I’ve ever had so so good!

Great experience with food and service. Mitchell was terrific best service!!!

Pricey.Fiish was good. Rice served was bland and plain. Good service.

Really disappointed with the service.

There is 20% tip for 6 or more people. We had 5 adults dinning and a 1 year old infant. They added the mandatory tip saying the infant counts. We didn’t ask for a high chair or any special requests for the infant, nor order anything. Regardless it’s disgusting to try and get your tips this way by making an infant the 6th dinner. Shows lack of professionalism from the waiters.

On top no over the top services were offered. Food and water was brought to the table. Noting more.

We dined as 5 adults and 1 toddler (16 month old), and we were charged a 20% gratuity due to the restaurant policy for 6 people or more. The toddler is under 2 years and we did not order anything extra for the baby. When discussing the bill with the waiter, she shrugged her shoulders and said that the toddler wasn’t sitting in a high chair. On top of that, we ordered the fish and chips with the side being baked potato. When the food arrived we were given fries instead, we informed the waiter the error she said keep the fries and I’ll bring you an extra baked potato. We assumed due to the error it would be free but upon checking the bill, it was added as an extra…very disappointed as being our first experience at this restaurant

Delicious food, good ambiance and nice drinks. We really enjoyed our fish n chips and ceasers just a day before Thanksgiving ‘24.

Gillys was an amazing experience! I had the Finn tacos excellent and our waitress was amazing! Definitely coming back! :)
