Gillys was an amazing experience! I had the Finn tacos excellent and our waitress was amazing! Definitely coming back! :)

This restaurant was great. Excellent fish, fries and caesar salad. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was because I had the perch and the portion was very small but it was delicious. The service was really great and friendly. I highly recommend this place. Beautiful location as well. Worth the drive. So much better than Henry's and Tailwinds which were both very disappointing. Skip those until they learn to cook and head straight here. Loved it!

We dined there for lunch today. They weren’t very busy so we got a lovely table overlooking the water. Our server was Coral and she was great! I had the breaded pickerel that comes with two generous filets and a lot of fries (I do mean alot) coleslaw as well. It was delicious! Brilliantly they have the tartar sauce in a large bottle dispenser on the table so you never have to ask (or pay for) extra tartar sauce. I always need more but not this time! The breading was moist not crunchy which I loved. Much better than the thick crunchy breading of other places that use cornmeal. My husband had the pan fried perch which he also enjoyed. My only criticism and I am picky about ceasars- as they are my fav cocktail at lunch- too much red pepper flakes(no one likes bits in their drink) not enough worstershire sauce (even tho I asked for muddy) and it was watery possibly because they didn’t shake the Clamato before pouring and possibly wasn’t the spicy Clamato only regular Clamato. Other than that meal was great! Always sad at the end of season when you know they are closing in 45 days 😢

Had a picture perfect lunch on the patio at Gilly's. Gluten free pickerel with fries and slaw, with the breeze coming off the bay making everything perfect. I would've posted a photo of my lunch, but when it hit the table, I could think of nothing else but eating it.

We ordered grilled fish on the bun and fried fish taco. They came exactly the same and both deep fried! One on the bun and other in taco shape. Tasted like fried oil. Very moderate. Others ordered other sea food and all agreed that there were not much flavor. Very unfortunate as we were really looking forward to some good food. They have good reviews but I guess there are not much availabilities in that area and people generally enjoy unhealthy tasteless deep fried food. No offense to lovers and I’m just expressing my opinion.
Worst of all, the waitress was very rude. She said we are not allowed to make dog jokes about our friends tiny yappy dog since someone was attacked and killed by a dog couple of weeks ago and blood everywhere. I don’t understand why she had to tell us the story and ruin our beautiful day. Such bad advertisement for a well known establishment.
Anywho I will revise this review if I end up having good times next time visiting the place.

Great food with large portions. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area/restaurant. Highly recommend stopping by for the pickerel or perch.
