This restaurant was great. Excellent fish, fries and caesar salad. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was because I had the perch and the portion was very small but it was delicious. The service was really great and friendly. I highly recommend this place. Beautiful location as well. Worth the drive. So much better than Henry's and Tailwinds which were both very disappointing. Skip those until they learn to cook and head straight here. Loved it!
We dined there for lunch today. They weren’t very busy so we got a lovely table overlooking the water. Our server was Coral and she was great! I had the breaded pickerel that comes with two generous filets and a lot of fries (I do mean alot) coleslaw as well. It was delicious! Brilliantly they have the tartar sauce in a large bottle dispenser on the table so you never have to ask (or pay for) extra tartar sauce. I always need more but not this time! The breading was moist...
Had a picture perfect lunch on the patio at Gilly's. Gluten free pickerel with fries and slaw, with the breeze coming off the bay making everything perfect. I would've posted a photo of my lunch, but when it hit the table, I could think of nothing else but eating it.
