You will like the food here. Only thing, you need to tell them what is your level of spice tolerance.

By default, the food tastes good for general public means less spices. For spice lovers, it will be tasteless. But if you can request in advance, how you like your food, you will love the taste.

If you are going for catering and booking their hall, things get tricky as the restaurant has minimum requirement of number of guests and if the number of guests increase from minimum number, you have to pay extra per guest. If you don't have minimum number of guests, you still have to pay minimum dollar amount.

If you are able to pay minimum amount, the owner is very cooperative when we talk about food. He can alter menu options according to your requirements.

You can access the hall earlier of you want to decorate a little. The restaurant does not mind extra time if no event is lined up.

The weekends get full very easy so it's better to book in advance for larger group parties.

I have tried both versions - going to hall and tried catering and I like the food taste and quality. Quantity is good enough for intended number of guests for catering.

We love this place! We only do takeout and are rarely disappointed. We came the day they opened at this location and keep coming back. The staff are very friendly and the food delicious!

Palki is my favourite spot for North Indian food on the North Shore — it takes me back to my first time trying authentic Indian food in Delhi 12 years ago. My boyfriend grew up in Mumbai and says the mix of spices hits the sport every time. Our favourites are the tandoori platter, dal makhani, kulfi, and – of course – the Gulab jamun!

Overall below average experience. Especially naan, you guys really need to work on your breads, they're stale, thick, chewy. Excess oil bland taste. The condiments were stale. Makhani gravy tasted better that shows that you guys can really do good. I hope it gets better!

I've never reviewed Palki before, but in the past we've had consistently excellent take-out, usually 2, 3 times a year, always delicious and good portions. Not today, though. The naan was smaller, and now fried in a pan, not baked in a tandoor and tasted greasy (and felt greasy), butter chicken bland with very thin, liquid sauce, portions smaller than we're used to getting, and prices noticeably higher since our last take-out 4-5 months ago. Has the ownership changed? The chef certainly must have. I'm sad to have to say this, but the former quality is gone and we won't be ordering at Palki anymore. Owners, if you're reading this, please restore the standards and bring back your original chef. I would return if this happens.

I drive past this place daily on my way to and from work, had my truck breakdown and my girlfriend picked me up. On the way back she suggested we eat here , I had never given it any thought. We were pleasantly surprised on the price , serving sizes and taste. Very very good and we will be back again !

Not our first time at Palki’s. Not our last. We have had dine in and takeout since they have arrived in Carlsbad Springs. Today’s lunch buffet was a great addition.Their menu is always good. The buffet is a great sample of what Palki is so well known for.If you have never been here you have to try it.
