Hey Alice's! You need some substantial vegan fare - you're missing a fast growing demographic that can't eat there! Veg burger with vegan cheese and vegan mayo and you're on your way! :) Hope to come when you create something yummy without dairy and meat!

We had the smoked salmon sandwich and the BALT with a side of carrot ginger soup and it was all excellent. Staff are awesome and service is great. Good decor with nice ambience.

We arrived in Carp with no idea what we would find, so we stumbled on Alice's. It's right on the main road with parking outside. When we arrived at 2pm on a Saturday it was busy, but we were seated immediately. The food and drinks arrived quickly and we're what we needed! The service was efficient and friendly.

Stopped for lunch food was half decent but service extremely slow. $15 for a grill cheese with a few potato chips was a bit much. The pea soup was very good.

Parking: Carp seems to have plenty of parking.

Ordered the tuna melt and breakfast. The tuna melt was rotten and the breakfast was ice cold. After eating one bite of the tuna melt we spoke to the lady and she argued there was nothing wrong with it and tried to offer a discount. She was rude food was gross and took forever to get. Don’t waste your time or money. Much better places to eat and not get sick.

I would only say 4.75 since there is only one restroom for an average of 30 ppl

The food was really good and fresh.
Mom loved her coffee and I really enjoyed my latte. They had oat milk and glutten free options which is nice. And the glutten free bread was actually quite good.

Decorative piano which I always love to see.

Very popular place! Option to sit or to-go

Waiters were super nice

I would definitely come back if I lived nearby.

Dietary restrictions: Glutten free and milk options

Parking: We parked on the street nearby

Kid-friendliness: The restau had kids but they were all well behaved

Wheelchair accessibility: Saw wheelchair clients and for the restroom also made with them in mind

I thought this Alice's Village Cafe had high potential but unfortunately they had little to nothing to offer. Except having a nice dog friendly patio and good coffee and a pleasant hostess. I ordered the turkey club on sourdough. Thinking that I would be getting real sourdough bread fresh made turkey and good quality bacon. Unfortunately I got processed meat turkey highly processed sourdough bread Probably from a big manufacture like Dempster’s (they have no business selling that garbage as “sourdough”) or something that I’m pretty sure was stale and tasteless. I’m sure they may have tried to toast it but it was still off white and not even golden brown the way toast should be. At least the lettuce was fresh. That’s why I gave them a star. That they deserve. And it had so much mayonnaise I think they tried to cover up the fact that the bread was stale so they ended up putting way too much mayonnaise But I’m sick of going out to eat at a restaurant and getting shitty food if you’re like me and like to go to restaurants and pay 25 bucks or so for a turkey club sandwich I expect to get a quality turkey sandwich not a two dollar food quality product. I’m just tired of being ripped off when I go out to eat on the menu, it says it comes with a side of kettle chips so it comes with a side of Lays potato chips that may be kettle chips, but I could’ve brought my own potato chips. I need them from the bag or putting them on the plate instead of paying 25 bucks for three potato chips. No, no now I’m inventing because the more I think about it the more I feel totally ripped off this place is a total hack

Very unwelcoming to cyclists which is strange because Carp is such a popular destination for bikers.

Very good quality breakfast and a very tasty normal coffee.
That was some of the best coffee we had drunk in 3 weeks of traveling.
Therefore 5 stars

I ordered the tuna melt and it tasted horrible. I asked to return it and when I ordered the bill they wouldn’t allow me to remove it off the bill. Horrible customer service and the food was even worse. The coffee was ok.

Great lunch spot in Carp with both indoor and outdoor seating which is appreciated. Enjoyed the fresh Harvest salad and specialty coffees (latte and cappuccino). The owner, who was also our server, took the time to chat with us and didn't rush us off the patio, even though it was approaching closing time!
