Food was great service was psinful they girls all chatted with a friend for 15 minutes before taking our order
An amazing experience, loved sitting outdoors in a quiet area even though on what was the main street. Chatted with many people that seemed like regulars. Lattes were spot on! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour!
Will definitely visit Alice's again soon!
Have only tried their coffee yet. Got good vibes from the cafe too. Will visit again for some food.
Was an early Father’s Day lunch and we had no reservations about eating here and the somewhat gorgeous server (Alice, I think her name was) fit us in. So worth the wait. Soups du jour were 6 stars!
I am a regular at Alice's, visiting every Wednesday morning with my walking group for a nummy latte and a freshly baked cheese scone. The cafe is a lively, and often busy, local favourite in the west end of rural Ottawa.
I had the pleasure of booking a special lunch for friends and family in May, and we were all really pleased with the delicious food - Harvest salad, carrot/walnut soup, a selection of sandwiches, and carrot cake. The service was excellent - quietly professional - and we loved the friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We didn't make a special trip to eat at this establishment, just happened to be in the area. While it was good, I wouldn't spend 30-45 minutes on the road to visit again.
Alice's is a place you have to stop into if you go to Carp. I almost don't want to tell you that because the place is busy enough as it is! We showed up 10 minutes before closing with a small group, not realizing that they closed early that day. They still let us come in as long as we were only ordering coffees and desserts, which of course were fabulous.
Hey Alice's! You need some substantial vegan fare - you're missing a fast growing demographic that can't eat there! Veg burger with vegan cheese and vegan mayo and you're on your way! :) Hope to come when you create something yummy without dairy and meat!
We had the smoked salmon sandwich and the BALT with a side of carrot ginger soup and it was all excellent. Staff are awesome and service is great. Good decor with nice ambience.

We arrived in Carp with no idea what we would find, so we stumbled on Alice's. It's right on the main road with parking outside. When we arrived at 2pm on a Saturday it was busy, but we were seated immediately. The food and drinks arrived quickly and we're what we needed! The service was efficient and friendly.

Stopped for lunch food was half decent but service extremely slow. $15 for a grill cheese with a few potato chips was a bit much. The pea soup was very good.
Parking: Carp seems to have plenty of parking.

Ordered the tuna melt and breakfast. The tuna melt was rotten and the breakfast was ice cold. After eating one bite of the tuna melt we spoke to the lady and she argued there was nothing wrong with it and tried to offer a discount. She was rude food was gross and took forever to get. Don’t waste your time or money. Much better places to eat and not get sick.

I would only say 4.75 since there is only one restroom for an average of 30 ppl
The food was really good and fresh.
Mom loved her coffee and I really enjoyed my latte. They had oat milk and glutten free options which is nice. And the glutten free bread was actually quite good.
Decorative piano which I always love to see.
Very popular place! Option to sit or to-go
Waiters were super nice
I would definitely come back if I lived nearby.
Dietary restrictions: Glutten free and milk options
Parking: We parked on the street nearby
Kid-friendliness: The restau had kids but they were all well behaved
Wheelchair accessibility: Saw wheelchair clients and for the restroom also made with them in mind
