Great old school british pub out in Carp. Offers excellent traditional pub grub to eat in or take away. The meat pies are delicious. Massive list if craft taps that change regularly. Even more massive list of good scotches. Patio is also really beautiful, but can get loud due to proximity to a major intersection

We took some family from the UK to the Cheshire Cat while we were visiting Ottawa, and we were NOT disappointed! The portions were great, the food was great! Great selection of beers on tap, and the yorkshires were MASSIVE and unbelievably good! Brother In Law said it was the best roast beef dinner hes had in years! Bought some souvenir glasses on the way out as well. Had a great time, and will definitely visit again when we're in the area!

A very nice pub with a large and well-curated beer list. The food is good, and in the summer they serve excellent smoked meats. It is a great place for a family evening or for enjoying a Friday beer with friends. Highly recommended.

Very good food at this "pub". Tasty and decent portions with an excellent variety of comfort and fine foods. Usually very busy, for a good reason, and the atmosphere is cozy.

We arrived at 5pm ish on Friday, a number of customers in line. Staff arrived at the line up with sample beers & indicated we would be seated shortly. Indeed we were ..by 10 minutes and seated. 1st impression a 10. We had a number of staff engage us immediately with food and drink menus, specials and favorites. 2nd impression a 10. Our drinks arrived immediately, food ordered and landed on our table within 15 mins. The food was excellent and our server returned to the table numerous times to inquire about our meals & drink, a 10. The restaurant has 2 levels and all tables were full & a small line waiting tasting their samples and smiling. Great experience, highly recommended!
