Was in the area visiting a cottage with family and decided to stop here for lunch. Best Decision Ever. This was the best fish & chips I have ever had. Everything perfectly cooked, worth all the money. 5 Stars
I know this is a nostalgic eatery in carrying place but there are a few things that could be improved. The food is very pricey. The burger is basic. The poutine is not curd. The grounds need to be tidied up and weeding to be done. I understand the zillion signs are part of the nostalgia but it’s riding on the verge of unkept. The customer service was very good and I’d go back bc of that. There was even s&p on the picnic tables .
The gentleman working was super friendly and the food was hot and delicious.
