Stopped by with my husband for dinner. We ordered pad thai and lemongrass pork. If you don't mind waiting for almost an hour (but it was well worth the wait) and have deliciously prepared food and served with generous portion, you should stop by. Recommended for those who are craving for Asian food.

The food was decent, but the payment terminal wasn’t working, so we had to pay in cash (I’m on a business trip). Then we had to ask for chopsticks. There were two of us, and they brought chopsticks for only one person at first—we had to ask again! Is this really Asian cuisine? 🤔 I hope the owners fix these problems, it’s not that hard.

I tried the veggie pad Thai based on the strength of these google reviews. I was so happy to find a local option for Thai. I hate slagging a mom and pop ethnic place local to me, but the reviews here and my experience were so far apart. The pad Thai was maybe the worst I’ve ever had. It was basically plain noodles with some spring onions and sprouts and a container of sweet and sour sauce. Bland and tasteless. Pad Thai is supposed to get its amazing sweet and sour flavour from palm sugar and tamarind, not from a generic sweet and sour sauce served on the side. For $23 before tax it was a massive disappointment. To their credit, the people are nice, and as a celiac, I didn’t get sick. But I will not be back.

Exceptional service. The owner is very generous. Very low prices. Great place overall. They treat us like family. Been there many times and the food was always great. Even with a few alcoholic drinks, my bill was under 50$. With about 2 drinks and dinner it's about 35$ depending on what you get, it can be even cheaper. If you plan on going there with a group, I'd suggest to make reservations as the space is limited. Never had any issues with reservations. Can't wait to go back.

Had a really tasty Bistro Salad with friends after a round of golf. Great service with a sense of humour too.

Ordered take out and it was fantastic, arrived at the hotel nearby and needed dinner and they were about 30 mins before close. The owner was great and the ither reviews did not disspoint. The tom yum soup was authentic and loaded with flavor. Singapore noodles were great. Pepper beef was flavorful and tender. Chicken teriyaki was sweet and outstanding. A must try for anyone .

My wife and two friends dined at Asian Bistro for the first time. The menu is varied. Some items were spicy. All were well prepared. Comparable to the now closed Nokum Thai and the Green Papaya in Ottawa! Definitely worth leaving the 417 for a good meal at a good price!

We called ahead and asked if we could bring our dog (small/under chair kind). They said OK, they even made him chicken and rice with no sauce so he could eat. Outside of that, this was probably the best chicken teriyaki and spicy beef! 5 people (3 kids) and nothing left to take home. Amazing place, it a must visit for me next time.
