They really outdone themselves. Not only the taste, but the presentation. The food was absolutely delicious. It is nice to find a restaurant with employees that take pride in their work. They definitely lived up to their name A-1 Chinese food restaurant.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Balls, Chicken Soo Guy, Chicken Fried Rice, Fortune Cookies, Chicken Chop Suey, Beef with Green Pepper

First timers at A1 in Wallaceburg and all I can say is OH-EMM-GEE.

The absolute best tasting Chinese I've ever had. Piping hot, everything fresh fresh fresh. Seriously doesnt compare to anything I've ever eaten before.

It was our first time going here.We had exceptional service. The food was very hot,portions were huge. And the food was amazing

Website says it's open - at 530 on a Saturday afternoon - it was not!

It’s pretty much exactly what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. All the basic are there. The crispy beef is my personal favourite dish.

Had a pleasant experience until it came time to pay. We had a coupon from the booklet that comes out yearly. One staff member was not pleasant when this was presented. Advised we should have mentioned this on entering the restaurant. As mentioned to her, how is an individual to know the rules of your establishment. Perhaps a sign on entering would be helpful or perhaps wait until we are done our meal instead of slipping this on the table while we are still enjoying our supper. The bill is written out, crossing out the number and re-writing the total is all that is required. Not difficult at all but would have been a better experience without being reprimanded.

I didn't put anything as far as the server because they really don't do anything. It is a self service.
But the food was very good.

We ordered here for the first time and I ordered sweet and sour ribs and fried rice. I have ordered s/s ribs at many other Chinese restaurants before and have never got small breaded bits of pork covered in sweet and sour sauce full of small bone pieces and gristle. Never. I get ribs. Which is what I was expecting. They didn't say that they were breaded bits of pork anywhere or when we ordered. We got home to discover that we didn't get what we were expecting. Not only that, the rice was very bland with a hint of smoke. Will not order here again.

Small eat in place but food is pretty good wait staff friendly and courteous. Give it a try
