This is one of the best byrger chain spots in Chatham. Food is made well, very clean and the staff are always very pleasant.
I stopped at A&W in Chatham, Ontario for breakfast and while eating breakfast saw people walk behind order counter and help themselves to coffee. The gentleman named Bob even made a new pot of coffee and the employees working there never told him he couldn’t be there, they just said “Bob are you looking for a job” and let him keep helping himself. If A&W allows people to just walk in off the street and help themselves and doesn’t have to meet Ministry of Health guidelines I won’t be back to any A&W restaurants. We don’t know if Bob was sick or a carrier of flue, COVID or any other spreadable disease.
Debit down drive-thru only???? The employee at the window said cash only. So I left, drove for 20 mins across town and back with cash. A different employee now tells me at the window that I could have paid inside. Puzzled I paid for my original order which was now very cold. Also they didn’t give me back the proper change.

The staff here are so efficient and friendly. It was a busy time and everyone's order was spot on. They were hustling to ensure everyone got their order and enough table clean to sit at. Best location experience, hands down! Staff deserve a bonus.
