Ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with fries and slaw. (As this comes as a double burger). Ordered a 2nd “double bacon cheeseburger”Just the burger. Get to the til, and she went to charge me for 3 cheeseburger deluxe’s. Explained it was wrong. She said she fixed it. I payed. She hands me the receipt and she charged for 2 cheeseburger deluxes. I explained it was still wrong. One was a deluxe and one was just the burger. She said she can only refund in cash. Not debit. (No problem. Money is money). Get out to the car. And the second burger is only a single. Take it back in and explain that now the actual food is wrong and it was suppose to be a double. She tells me that the girl that took the order, wrote it down wrong and it didn’t say a double bacon cheeseburger. She goes on to tell me that she can re charge me for the proper burger. (Which would be fine). But it will be at least 15 minutes or so for the new burger because it’s busy. We already had one order in the car, waiting to be ate. So they expected 1 person to eat a cold burger and fries and to wait, after they spend at least 15 minutes to correct their 3rd mistake of the whole order? Own your mistakes, fix the problem. Most likely will not be returning again. Very disappointing experience.

i have been to big chief many times, and it has always been really good. amazing food, great service, etc. but today... was the complete opposite. my family and i decided to drive up to big chief for dinner tonight, and let me tell you, we regret that decision. there were 7 of us tonight, and we spent around $165 for all of our food. we ordered a super chief meal with texas fries, a rehab platter, a cheeseburger deluxe meal with a poutine, 2 fish and shrimp platters (one with texas fries), a footlong chili cheese dog deluxe meal, and a little chief hamburger meal. at first glace, everything looked good. the food looked delicious, and we were all excited to eat. however, after we took our first bites, we realized that something was off.
first of all, the batter on the fish was hard as a rock and was very hard to bite into, the deep fried mushrooms on the rehab platter were very overcooked and dried out, and the burgers... they were the worst thing we had ordered, actually inedible. every single one of them had a very strong and bad odor to them and they tasted awful, like they were rotten or something. honestly, the best thing we consumed today were the drinks.
so, we went up to the front to talk to someone and explain our situation, and they basically shut us down the entire time. they told us that nothing was wrong with the burgers because they were "made fresh today", and that nobody else had said anything about them so it must have been "just us".
we talked to THREE different employees about our situation, and not a single one of them would help us out. they told us that they couldn't do anything about it, no refund, nothing; and when we finally asked to speak to a manager, they told us that there was nobody in today, and that the next time that someone would be in wouldn't be until tuesday.
we used to LOVE big chief, but we all agreed that none of us would be back here. all of us left today with an empty stomach and a bad taste in our mouths.
would not recommend.
