Wanted to try this place for a while and after living in Chatham for a year, finally did. The staff were nice but the food looked better than it tasted. Not the worst Ive ever had, but it had a very bland commercial taste, like something you'd expect from a walmart bakery, not one where things are meant to be made from scratch. I got a whip cream donut and some brownies - the donut was stale and barely had filling while the brownies were thin, stale, and coated in way too much premade frosting and ended up in the garbage. (If it wasnt premade it definitely tasted that way)

We ordered 2 sandwiches to go. One egg salad and other was turkey. Cost was almost $18 for both!!!! There was hardly any toppings on each sandwich and they were feather light in weight! I don't complain very often but this was ridiculous and we will never go again!! Try a sandwich!!!!

I had an event this weekend that I had catered by Maple City Bakery. I can't recommend them more highly. I was impressed right from the moment I entered the premises - the lovely homey atmosphere and the delicious baked goods they have displayed. They answered all my questions, made great suggestions and, when it was time to confirm my order, they gave me a few money saving options rather than trying to up-sell - which was very helpful. They actually went above and beyond my expectations and the food was devoured by the guest, with lots of great comments. People asked me where I got the food because they were so impressed. It was simple fare - sandwiches, fruit, cheese and veggie trays - but very well done and tasty. Hopefully they get more business because of this - they deserve it!! Thank you!!!

We had a birthday cake and gluten free cupcakes from Maple City Bakery and they were absolutely delicious! The cake turned out gorgeous and the cupcakes were decorated beyond what I imagined.
A guest from Toronto who is gluten-free commented that the cupcakes were the tastiest gluten-free dessert she's ever tried.
Thank you so much for the beautiful aesthetic and superb quality. It made the day extra special. I will absolutely be ordering from you for our next special occasion.
