Renny's The Village Smokehouse

Passing by town and randomly chose Renny's based on the good reviews and our love of BBQ. Renny's did not disappoint. Family of 4 were all pleased. Outstanding burgers, ribs, brisket, and fries (we asked for well done and chef nailed it). Excellent service as well. I loved our pleasant server. Thank you!

Kid-friendliness: Has a small kids menu. Good price and portions. My picky son was happy with his ribs and fries.

Fabulous ribs, very Smokey and tender. Great jalapeno burger. Excellent chicken burger. Great service. Very reasonable prices. A great family dinner place!

Had the Jalapeño Bacon burger, it was dynamite!!! Been a while since I’ve been to Renny’s… love the renovations and the menu offers a variety of mouth watering options! Watching all the dishes come out of the kitchen made me want more, but the burger was all I could handle…this time. Definitely will be back soon! Highly recommend!

Very good food. I would highly recommend the pulled pork mac and cheese, it is nearly perfect (throw a bit more cheddar on there and it's perfection). The ribs are fantastic. I really liked the baked beans and cornbread. Nobody likes coleslaw but at least theirs isn't super sweet like the typical.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They definitely made the experience even better.

Ribs were great, tender and fall off the bone. Brisket was a tad over cooked but had great flavour. Corn bread was delicious, to take it to the next level warm butter to dip in would have made it fantastic ! Service on the hand not the greatest. Way too slow and unorganized but he was friendly. Overall good food.

We ordered out, camping at provincial park, had the ribs ,waffle fries, baked beans and corn bread, and we are stuffed. Food was sooooo good, and a bonus finding out owner is related to hubby's neighbour, small and wonderful world, we'll be back!

I am from Ohio, the Cleveland area, and this is the best barbecue (smoke) I have had to date!! The owners and staff are so friendly and amazing and was the best pulled pork sandwich!! This business is getting back on its feet, after some hardships (an explosion in town), please visit!!
