We really enjoy Swiss Chalet but.. recommend dine in or pickup take out. We have tried delivery twice in the last month. Both times were a fail. One order was missing food and second time it took 1:45 minutes.. called and complained and they just said will be there soon. Driver told us she missed the call.. so restaurant did know what was going on but figured we wouldn't mind cold food.Decided to try again..Picked up food this week and was great..So conflicted on the rating.

i just moved down here and came in to this Swiss on Keil drive for the first time, on Boxing day, A gentleman named Steve took my order at the takeout window in the restaurant, he was so friendly and polite. and gave amazing customer service and very he was very welcoming. he was also kind enough to upsize my gravy and give me a drink at no charge. I will be coming back to this swiss chalet again as the service was amazing the atmosphere was very nice. it’s not often now a days you meet such genuinely kind people. It really made my night

Food is what is expected from Swiss Chalet. Service has always been okay here: not great, but not bad. Onsite parking is okay. I don't care for the location though. I will return.

I went to this location today after placing an on line order more than 2 hours earlier. I watched as a cashier struggled to take a ladies order for an unreal amount of time each time she asked for a manager to come help she was ignored until finally a very rude cook came from the kitchen and yelled at the cashier to go check on fries. This was done right in front of at least 6-8 customers and she was rude to a guest when told there was better ways to deal with fellow employees.Others had gone through drive thru but got no service so they came into the store to order thier food

Preordered our dinner at 3:30 pm today for 5:10pm pick at location on Kiel street Chatham and order wasn’t ready at all , kitchen staff was yelling at front cashier in front of customers , then they tried to give us the wrong order food was cold had to warn it in the microwave, so not impressed with this experience tonight . Will think long and hard at ordering from this location again in the future.

My wife and I ordered through the drive through tonight. There was an issue with their gift card system which caused it to drain our card ($50). I ended up going inside to sort out the issue.The manager Steve was pleasant and polite. He went the extra mile to solve our problem and made sure that we left happy.The food was hot and delicious as always. Thanks Steve!

Typical SC, everything costed right down to the paper wrapper on the cutlery. Took 30 min + for the food to arrive - "Sorry, just two waitresses and two cooks on... " (so apparently sucks to be us), and then it was all lukewarm. None of the chickens had reached puberty: in fact the dinner roll was bigger than the 1/4 chicken. Half chicken included only a breast and wing (we think it was a wing). Had to pour my second coffee myself, was never offered one. Cook's response to our request for more butter was "Aw, geez..." Just don't bother.

Food as usual but I ordered a salad and they forgot it. Didn't get the rolls correct and when I called back I just got transfered to their store phone and it never got answered over and over until I gave up.

The service is slow, less than friendly most of the time and the portions inconsistent. Unfortunately we really like Swiss Chalet's food and this is our only choice of location in Chatham-Kent.

This is a good Swiss Chalet we frequent. Service is always good. We've had no bad experiences here yet. The building and interior are showing their age (wash rooms especially) but understandable with COVID. We're glad they've survived so far.

We had to do drive through as we couldn't dine in. Menu at the drive thru is only a very small oart if the full menu. Had trouble getting the menu on the phone. Had to go in to get a menu. Got a takeout menu...still not a full menu. Ordered at the drive through...went reasonably quick. Got home...no rolls with 2 meals. Also ordered a chicken poutine and got fries with a side of chalet sauce even though specifically asked for gravy. Not the best experience for $90+
