Stopped here while coming through town. I had the buffalo chicken and sweet potato fries. They were absolutely delicious! My s.o. had the hamburger and fries, he said it wasn't anything to rave home about. Overall I enjoyed my meal though. And the waitress made one of rhe best Caesars I've had.

Ordered a large pizza for take out, once I got it home and reheated it, I noticed a disturbing smell coming from it, but decided to try it anyways. 100% the most disgusting pizza that I have ever had!! I don’t know how people can eat this crap. Don’t know if the pepperoni was bad maybe?? But I couldn’t even finish ONE piece! So no dinner for me tonight. I will go to little ceasars any day over this.

We have been going to the central tavern for years. We went tonight for the first time since new ownership. And we were all very disappointed. We brought friends with us who have never been there before, we raved about how amazing it was. Keyword, it was. The French onion soup was absolutely pathetic. One ladle of soup with a slice of white bread and with a slice of Swiss or mozzarella cheese on it. It was freezing cold and the taste was terrible. My friend and I sent ours back. I always loved getting the barbeque Hawaiian flatbread pizza. My husband ordered it today, and we were lucky if it was 8 inches round, with four slices cut into it. $18 for that? It used to be a long rectangle piece the size of the tray. Our waitress apologized profusely. She said there is new cooks in the back and that it is under new ownership. Our other friend ordered the boneless chicken bites. They were basically just doused in ketchup. He ate all but two of them. Just because he was hungry. This is so disappointing and sad. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant in Chatham because we left hungry. Our waitress was wonderful though. No complaint about her at all. We unfortunately will not be coming back. We are going to miss this place the way it was.

I had the pleasure of trying both the pizza and panzerotti here, and I have to say they were absolutely amazing! The pizza had the perfect balance of a crispy, golden crust with a soft, airy inside. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously layered, making every bite delicious.
The panzerotti was just as impressive—crispy on the outside, perfectly fried, and filled with gooey cheese and rich, savory ingredients inside. It was hearty, satisfying, and full of flavor.
On top of the great food, the service was friendly and welcoming, and everything came out hot and fresh. This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to family and friends.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful pizza and panzerotti made with care, this place is a must-visit!

A tavern less than 10 minutes out of Chatham ontario in the town of pain court.
Smart and friendly bartender waitress who kept on top of everything. Constantly clearing glasses and tending to the guests. All by herself without skipping a beat.
Came over within a minute of me taking a seat. Took my drink order and served it promptly. Also gave food recommendations. I had the chicken buffalo tacos and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. They were very tasty and only took a few minutes to get them. So that was very impressive.
Then I tried the in-house lager and it was pretty tasty. I would say this restaurant was a good find.
At 3 in the afternoon it had over 20 patrons so they are doing something right in this small village.
Would recommend based on personality of staff, food experience and overall experience.

Totally disgusted with what our waitress was dressed cut off short short jeans shorts and tank top that showed her breasts. The food was overcooked like it had been precooked for a while. We were the only ones there. We won't be back so sad as we visited several times a year with friends

Haven't been here a ton but the few times I have I've enjoyed it!
Had food one time and it was really good 👍 😋. Nice and quick too!
Servers are super nice and it's great to see entertainment there!
Only issue to me at least is when it's busy and there's a band it's very squishy inside and because I wasn't familiar with the place it was awkward to find a spot to sit while everyone was looking at me
Other than that and at night it's hard to find the entrance I enjoyed the night and will be back again!
