Churrascaria Steakhouse & Takeout

Came here for the wife's birthday last week but we mistakenly ate a late lunch before hand. Huge, generous portions! The sweet potato chips and dip are absolutely delicious! Amongst other very tasty appies. The steaks were cooked to perfection and served fresh. We will be coming back with hungrier intentions. Amazing service as well.

I love Churrascaria. The food is always good and the waitresses are great — no complaints about that at all.

But last weekend I went with my family and the whole time they were playing reggaeton, like “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee. I was honestly surprised. This is a classy restaurant, and that kind of music just didn’t match the vibe. I was honestly waiting to finish my food as fast as I can to leave...

I was expecting something more chill and elegant, like bossa nova — maybe João Gilberto, Vinícius de Moraes, or even Antônio Carlos Jobim. Something smoother that fits the atmosphere better.

The food and service are still great, but the music really threw me off. Because of that, I’d give it three stars this time.

Unrivaled local food and service at Churrascaria. Positively next level culinary offerings delivered with real family warmth. The ambience in the dining room is truly inspiring. A blessing for Chatham, but well worth a drive from London. Thank you Churrascaria!

Wife and I went here for the 1st time for my birthday and it was last minute and didn't make a reservation. Saturday at 6pm. They said they were booked but they had a table reservation for 7 in hour and 15 minutes. Asked if we thought that was enough time for us. We thought so. It was top in very way, service food and atmosphere.
Recommendation for reservation, and if from Chatham the prices are on the high end, but well worth it! High Recommendation.

Writing a review to apologize, made a reservation for 15 for today a couple weeks ago, today I think I had just over half the party contact me saying they were ill and wouldn’t be able to make it. Had to call and cancel, wasn’t my intention, but thank you for letting me cancel. Apologize for the inconvenience.

We had a great dining experience at Churrascaria last evening with friends. The food was great, the service was wonderful and the restaurant was cozy. We started with the in-house home made soup. My wife and I both tried a fish dish . The Bacalhau- cod fillet was cooked perfectly and was tasty. Just watch out for bones, which our server pointed out. We also had the Bacalhau com Natas, a beautiful cod dish served in a clay pot. Both dishes were presented beautifully. We were also served crusty bread, olives and beans. The custard tarts served hot for dessert were simply spectacular. We also had the carrot cake which was wonderful. Thank you for a great dining experience. We will be back.

The food was outstanding — ribs that fall off the bone, the best garlic mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, and flavorful, moist chicken. Truly 10/10 on the meal.

The service, however, was slow and unwelcoming. It took a long time to get drinks or menus, which definitely affected the experience. The atmosphere was just okay — not romantic, not lively, just average.

Amazing food, but the service and vibe need a boost to match the quality coming out of the kitchen.

Such a nice place for lunch! We’ve been here a dozen times and every time we are so impressed by the food quality, friendliness of staff and professionalism of the establishment.
We got the veggie panini, the chicken panini and a gf reuben. They had gluten free bread for me which was amazing! The generous portion of fries were yummy and soup of the day was super unique and delicious too. We always recommend this place and keep coming back for me!
