The service and the food was excellent. The atmosphere of the restrant was calming and relaxing. Because it wasn't a huge place we felt like we were eating at home with service. Had the absolute pleasure of going up to Chatham specifically to try this place on Friday and I was overjoyed with my experience.From the moment we hit the front door we could smell fresh smoke and the food proved it had been put to good use.Did the $45 platter and loved every single bite. The only think stopping us from demolishing the whole thing is the fact we wanted to take some of the sides home to eat again later.Main highlights for me were the Pulled Pork and Grandma's Potato Salad.Our server was also at the top of his game, great communication and his awareness was top tier. He chimed in exactly when we needed to hear from him and he never overstayed his place in the conversation either.I'd absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

What a great meal! We stopped by on a whim and were not disappointed. The entire meal was delicious. The meats are all locally sourced and outstanding. You can tell that they take great pride in their food and service. The staff that were present made us feel welcomed from the moment we entered to the moment we left.

Best bbq from here to Texas! Corn bread texture is so soft, dense and falls apart beautifully while eating it. Plus the apple butter was excellent on top of the corn bread!We decided to get the platter since it was our first time here. Mouthwatering brisket & pulled pork, melts in your mouth it’s so great! Chicken wings, cheese sausage, potato salad and coleslaw all excellent as well. Definitely would order that again! Prices are good, portions huge & service was above and beyond!

Excellent food and friendly service! Brisket is superbly tender and bursting with flavour. Beef brisket burnt ends, pulled pork, wings, sausage and sides were all excellent. Food, service and portions are consistently good. Order extra to take home for multiple meals. Order name: Dre GrahamOh man,...... Where do I start. This food ranks. And how high it ranks, is still being determined because this is one of the best things I've had since moving to Chatham - Kent. My wife and I ordered the pull pork sandwich meal and the brisket Philly cheese sandwich meal.First thing, when we opened the door to Dog days we just looked at each other and knew it was about to slap. It smelt HEAVENLY. The atmosphere was great and next time we will definitely eat in at the restaurant. Having said that, we live about 7 minutes from the spot and all the food held incredibly well. Hot, fresh, crisp. Just frig, chefs kiss.Whatever you boys/and possibly ladies are doing with your dill coleslaw, keep doing it cause it's to die for.The pulled pork was the best I'd ever have and I come from being born and raised in Toronto where we had every district of barbeque and every type of pulled pork. This ranks at the top. No need for relish, or anything. The coleslaw was so good I thought it could possibly elevate the sandwich so on my last few bites I added some anddd holy $h!t it was THE best.The Philly cheese was absolutely phenomenal. Now we haven't been to Philadelphia but we've been around the world and had some great cheese steaks. This is better. My wife said "the bread alone is incredible, you add the perfect cooked and tender meat as well as the not too rich cheese sauce, it's so good without being over the top"Thank you for blessing Chatham with this establishment and you will see us many many many more times and next time probably in the shop to eat.It's dog days barbeque and it's Centro. Those are your must eats in Chatham (may continue to grow)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
