Great company for kids to learn good work ethic. My daughter started when she was young and it taught her the importance of hard work and what it takes to make a dollar. The leaders were great and took care of them all day long. They were safe, used PPE and promote the kids that work hard. The kids are paid at the end of the summer, which is explained when they sign up. Nothing but good things to say!

My daughter is going into her second summer working with WR Detassling. They provide a great atmosphere for kids, flexible schedules, pickup/drop off locations and great communication with parents.

WR Detasseling is an amazing company to work for. Even though the work isn’t easy it’s a great experience. It’s one of the only jobs available for kids under 15 and allows people there first look in the work force. It also teaches you hard work, team work, respect, and responsibility that pays off with work experience on your resume and a nice cheque. The only thing better than the money is the supervisors and friends you make.

I didn't enjoy almost getting heatstroke and a feeling that I had been left behind and forgotten about in the middle of the cornfield on my first day. I was sore everyday, sometimes i was unable to walk. The people were okay though, made some friends so it wasn't all that bad after awhile. I wouldn't work again, but once I got into it, it was a bit better.
