A humble little chipstand run by a son and father. Extensive menu, great people to talk to, tasty food. They even have a massive tree in front so the entire area is entirely in the shade so it's nice to eat even though it's scorching out. Highly recommend eating here!

Super happy to have this now in Hammond it adds to the town perfectly. I find the bilingual service and the friendly staff that is willing to chat a bit whit you if not busy nice plus i find the location is nice to it being shady and whit it having bathroom access it makes it a nice place to eat whit your family or go for a quick snack. The price of the food is average\ = expensive like everything nowadays so don’t expect 2009 prices but the food is pretty good I like the poutine I found that the gravy tastes pretty good pared whit the quality cheese that they use plus the fries are very consistent and good whit the right amount or crispy and softness + it goes down very well compared to the average poutine and doesn’t hurt my stomach after eating. In short I rate this chip stand a 5 star

Love this chip stand. Honey mustard is yummy with pogos. Fries are how I love them… fresh real potatoes… by this I mean cooked once and not the frozen stuff.The only inconvenience is that they only take cash.

Shame they don't accept Google Pay, would stop here again if they did. Burger was okay, little pricey for the size. No combo available, have to order fries separately which doesn't help the end total. Friendly staff

Terrible service. Women made my food and spit in it infront of me and thought I would not notice. I was racially profiled. Never come to this restaurant again.
Price is fair. Poutine was les than desirable. The fries seemed over cooked as if they had been refried. The fries were also very soggy almost as if the gravy had been sitting in it in advance. Fries would break off the fork as soon as i lifted it. . Almost needed a spoon to eat them. It was my first time there. Not sure if they were having an off day or if that is the quality on a regular basis.

So my hubby finally came to try it the food even though we heard it is super expensive. Short story we left because the girl at the window couldn't understand my hubby speaking clear English. He had to repeat himself three times. All we wanted were two hamburger platters and she thought he said hot steak sub, not sure how she got that from what he said. Then to add insult she called another employee over and thinking my hubby doesn't speak French, says can you come help me this guys order doesn't make sense I don't understand him. You just made my husband feel stupid all because you can't hear properly. Clean out your ears and don't assume people can't speak French. You will never get our money, I will give it to another chip stand that know how to hear and respect their customers.

I have never had deep fried shepherd's pie before. I can never eat it any other way again. Also, try the jalaburger. It has just the right amount of heat. So good.
