I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. We went into this place. Couldn't hardly fit in the booth our feet were touching under the table. The woman threw the menu down on the table and never came back to take our order. We got up and said thanks for the service and she said oh there's so many people in here. There were like 2 people in there. Very rude and poorly ran.

Everything we have gotten from Golden Flower has rocked. The chicken balls have more chicken to dough ratio than we have ever experienced getting Chinese food all over the GTHA, the fried rice was delicious and not too oily, and the chow mein has hella veggies and was so well seasoned. The portion sizes are awesome, tons of leftovers perfect for the hotel room when we don't want to trek out after sunset. Only con is the containers aren't microwavable but we planned a head and brought out own for the leftovers. Gotta dine in next time too, seating area was well maintained and had great lighting. Very chill. Very satisfied and will be coming back.

As I walked into the restaurant to order a take out dish, The lady at the cash and taking and handing out orders was already in an unpleasant mood. Not sure if this was her usual character, since it was my fist time. First time or not, you don't act like this ( mean, sour faced, uncooperative). Certainly didn't help the restaurant's image. When I picked up my dish, I noticed it did not come with any cutlery or napkins. Who eats those fortune cookies anyway. When i see them it doesn't give me confidence in the disk. The food tasted awful, overcooked cheap rice, no flavour (spices, herbs or freshness). I am not an expert in Chinese cuisine, but i know i can cook something 10 times better than that. there was no ginger or garlic which i expected. No sweetness, just cheap oil with soya sauce. It was a total MISS. Scared to go back. All they need to do is cook better, it can trump the sour attitude.

Driving through town and stopped here for dinner. Great choice. Food was delicious and very tasty. If ever we are here again will be sure to stop. By far some of the best Chinese I have ever eaten.

I'm reviewing again as I want to warn anyone who is mistreated by the woman owner that it is entirely her personality and not to take it personally. I've been very upset after leaving the restaurant. It ruined my day. She was very mean, and if anyone else experiences this, don't be afraid to speak up to her. She's very nasty.
Refused to correct an inedible crispy chicken dish , even when I showed the owner how burnt and nasty it was . This place is not very good to begin with , but I should at lest be able to eat the food , And god forbid you ask for a refund for horrible food . You will not get it here .

Food was not great. Charged $10 to change something out however they didn’t have ribs and switched it to beef with no discount. $56 dinner for 4 changed to $95 with delivery around the block. Who ever answers the phone there must hate their job judging on how rude she was. I’ll be going to the next town or restaurant next time.

The food was awful. So greasy and no flavour at all. The place was not vintage it was OLD everything was like it was falling apart. The customer service was the worse our whole experience felt like we are begging them to give us food and to pay. She was not patient and she seemed Annoyed the whole time. Do not go there.
