My fiance went here with a group of guys on a snowmobile trip. First off, so many issues with their bills and what this place is charging. His $35 steak was 4 bites, the up charge for his handful of fries was an additional $10 which came out cold and with raw garlic just put on top (they were garlic parm), he was charged for an extra drink he did not have. They charged for premium bar rail when he did not order premium liquor, apparently they were out of bar rail, but did not notify or tell him of the change.
Food wise, I was told it was horrible. The guys are not picky or foodies by any standard, they just want quality compared to the prices. $45 for a steak that’s 4 bites and cold fries with raw garlic is in no way acceptable. They spent a maximum of 10 minutes eating because the portions were so horrible and somehow were there for 2 hours because the service was just that horrible.
And to top it all off, auto gratuity was added at 20%. We are not shy to tip, but 20% for the service and food was VERY steep. And to not be told about it, felt as though the server wanted an extra tip.
We had heard great things about this restaurant from other snowmobiles, turns out it’s now under new ownership and is not even remotely the same. We used to never be able to get a reservation here, and this time? Completely empty. Skip it, go eat somewhere else and I promise you’ll be better off.

Horrendous food, terrible quality. Looked like a 4th grader made my food. Went with 7 friends every single one of our meals looked brutal. It was so bad it was funny, don’t ever ever ever go to this place. Auto gratuity, didn’t tell us. As well as charging us nearly 14 dollars a drink ( double rum and coke ) because they are charging for the pop on-top. We aren’t picky people but just wanted to share our feelings.

Visited there for breakfast this morning. Was a great way to start the day. The owner recommended Floods Landing Campground as we asked about places to see. Was excellent and so glad it was recommended. Stunning scenery.
We were really impressed with the service and food at The Yellow Bars in Cochrane, ON. We stopped to spend the night during a crazy rainstorm, deciding to get a motel instead of camping. The Yellow Bars was in the railway station, which was fun, and its small tasty menu was perfect for us! Highly recommend.

I pre ordered the bannock pizza, I had veggie style and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. Probably the best toppings all of cochrane, they didn’t cheap out and you could actually get a good mouthful of veggies which I loved.
The staff were so kind and went above and beyond when placing the order. I will definitely be ordering again and recommend trying the pizza. You won’t be disappointed.
I look forward to trying other menu items and excited to watch this business grow. ☺️
This restaurant was much needed in Cochrane.
Hoping they add more indigenous based dishes. I think it would be a hit.

I only ate here once and I won’t be returning. Very disappointed with the breakfast, scrambled eggs were overcooked same with the bacon. The bacon was dried up and crunchy. Coffee was way too strong and needed lots of cream.
