The Big Apple Reviews
Treat their staff terribly and the management is just horrible. Never work here and never go here. Food is awful, people are awful and just all around a horrible place.
Dear The Big APPLE,
We were so looking forward to ending our trip to Toronto and enjoying a delicious apple fritter(3X) like we did the year b4.
Your prices have gone up BUT you did not put any APPLES in xxxxThe APPLE FRITTER”!! What a let down.
With great 🧐😢disappointment indeed.

we purchased the strawberry rhubarb pie. it was extremely disappointing. no strawberries or rhubarb, just pie filling. nothing like the picture on the box. and it was a premium price so i was expecting a good pie.

The Big Apple is a popular stop off Highway 401 with its iconic giant apple structure. The bakery is a highlight, offering delicious apple-based treats like apple pies with flaky crusts. The restaurant also serves savory options like pizza and sandwiches, including a bacon grilled cheese on apple bread that has received praise. Families with children will enjoy the outdoor activities like mini-golf, a petting zoo, and an enclosed dog park that is open year-round for doggie breaks. The on-site store sells a wide variety of apple-themed products, gifts, souvenirs, and offers tasting on site. There is a section with candy, alcohol, and other treats, making it a fun shopping experience. The place is very busy but has many things to do and see both inside and outside. Summer visitors can enjoy animals, and there are vegetarian options such as veggie burgers, grilled cheese, and poutine. Parking can be tricky due to many pedestrians, and while there is an accessible ramp, some amenities like EV chargers are not working. The location is convenient with ample parking and wheelchair accessibility. Prices can be a bit high, but occasional deals on close-to-expiration items are available. Overall, The Big Apple is a fun, family-friendly destination for apple lovers and travelers alike, offering a mix of food, treats, and activities.
