Em’s Cafe located in the Hallmark town of Coldwater, ON did not disappoint and was as delicious as the hype. My friend, Tami, has frequented Em’s Cafe 🍽️ for a while and wanted me to experience their chicken salad sandwich!! 🥪 That being said, I certainly loved it, so much so that it was all gone before I remembered to snap a picture (including the potato chips)!!
We ordered a coffee and tea ☕️🍵, (both fresh and piping hot) to go with our homemade baked cookies 🍪 (I have heard their scones are legendary 🥐🥖 … they were sold out by the time we arrived).
Tanya and Kendall prepared our order … customer service skills plus and beyond friendly!! 🥗🥒🥕🌽🍅🧅🌶️🧄🫑. The ingredients were so fresh they slapped back! Amazing lunch break and next time we’re heading home, Em’s will be on the route marked delicious!! The boutique and gift shop element incorporated into the restaurant is a wonderful addition to the friendly atmosphere and cozy, quaint feel. 10 stars, coz 5 is not enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended!!

We had lunch at Ems today. I had a tuna sandwich with apple and avocado. My husband had a smoked meat sandwich we shared a dessert. The surface was great. People are very friendly and they were very accommodating to my disabled husband. I highly recommend Em’s if you’re in the neighborhood.

You need to eat here!! Amazing little cafe serving up fresh sandwiches, soup, and baked treats! The ambiance is great, the people working there are absolutely awesome, and I left completely satisfied with my meatloaf sandwichon homemade sourdough, broccoli cheddar soup, and ginger molasses cookie to finish it off! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

A must visit in Coldwater! Delicious diner/bistro style food, baked goods, and coffee. And the decor was so cute and charming, especially the outside seating along the river and the umbrellas! Staff we super friendly and speedy. And I wanted to buy all the cute little items they had for sale!
We rode our bikes from Craighurst to Coldwater and stopped at EM’s Café, and it was well worth the effort. The ride itself was beautiful, but the real reward came when we sat down with a perfectly brewed coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Sitting outside and enjoying the crisp fall air while sipping coffee was truly relaxing. It was the kind of experience that makes you want to linger and not rush off. EM’s Café is a gem, and we’ll definitely be back again soon.
