Stopped here mid-ride with my buddy and had the best fish & chips! Crispy, golden perfection that made me question why I don’t eat more deep-fried happiness.
We sat out on the patio in full road-bike glory, and I realized this was the longest I’ve ever lounged in public wearing spandex. The staff didn’t flinch once at our questionable attire or the fact that our helmets doubled as centerpieces.
If you’re looking for a spot that welcomes hungry cyclists, serves food worthy of a podium finish, and lets you stay in Lycra longer than socially acceptable, this is it. Highly recommend!!!

Came in randomly as I was leaving Six Mile Provincial Park, happened to be their wing night where all tables were reversed. Although busy (normally they don’t take, takeout orders on Thursdays [the day I vistited]) they took my order and the food was amazing. Perfect to start the journey home.

Awesome experience! Relaxed, welcoming environment and home cooked food was amazing. You could tell there is no fillers and preservatives in their meals which was great for our friends with food sensitivities. Server Mary was incredible and her husband the cook is a genius! Will return for sure. 😊

When our server came, she was nice, but not the most attentive, and when she brought the bill, she sat down at the next table and complained about being tired while she waited for us to pay. I am by no means highfaluting, but the service was a little too casual to be considered professional in my opinion. I get that it's a laid back summer spot, but you are still running a business. Be sure to visit Big Chute while you are in the area!

Visited Riverhouse Restaurant for the first time, I don’t normally write reviews but wow! We had the most delicious pickerel dinners. Cold drinks, friendly staff and dog friendly patio, they immediately brought a bowl of water for girl. Definitely will be returning and recommending.

Beautiful view and the 7&7’s were good and that’s about it. The menu was very basic. Ordered the chicken fingers and poutine and was very disappointed. The chicken fingers were boxed and over cooked. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and the fish was super greasy. I think the view reflects the cost of there boxed food. Won’t be back!
