Atmosphere was beautiful, overlooking the water. Patio Unbrella night lights were brought out along with citronella candles ensuring an enjoyable experience. Service was excellent, the food was superb and the portions will not let you down. Worth the boat ride ?❤️

What an amazing family business, that feels like home! The Dockside Market carries amazing baked goods, great clothing merchandise and some great beers! Then to the patio, where we enjoyed the view and an amazing lunch. The staff is friendly, personable and efficient!! I often forget to leave reviews, but I was inspired when I saw a recently written review, by a supposed long time customer, who admittedly indicated that the misunderstanding may have been their fault, and yet they still wrote a negative review. From reading their review, and having been many times to The Waubic, I would say they were in fact the issue, and perhaps should have stuck around and waited for their table. I say shame on them, as that kind of review can do so much damage to a small family business. Thanks Waubic-you guys are doing an amazing job and we will continue to come and support your establishment!!!

Absolutely hate to leave a bad review for this place as it used to be my favourite on the Trent Severn. We came quite a ways to have lunch here, expecting a wait. We got told to wait an hour and we’d receive a text. No problem! We went around the corner on the boat and came back well before the hour was over and had just received the text as we were back. We went up to the host stand and waited almost 10 minutes just for her to tell us we were taken off the list and she could put us back at the end of the line. No one told us once that we couldn’t quickly leave and come back. Maybe we’re in the wrong here but what’s the point of giving us a time and texting us if we can’t leave for a minute and come back before our given wait time is over? I feel as if the right thing to do would have been to bump us back up to the top of the list for the first table available. Instead they basically told us tough luck and didn’t care to make it right whatsoever. We just spent over $150 on their brand clothing as well. Won’t ever be coming back unfortunately. Makes me sad.

Absolutely incredible place.Very busy, first come first serve, but well worth the effort to get there, and waiting for a table.The BEST restaurant on the Trent, hands down, anywhere from Orillia to Port Severn, believe me, I knowKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, including beach area, outdoor games, and plenty of space to play.Also pet-friendly!Parking: Boat access only, and limited number of docks.They can have about as many boats docked as they have tables to seat people, so be prepared to wait for a dock on busy afternoons or weekends.

Great little restaurant and bar. We always look forward to going up the marine railway on the trent severn waterway. They have the best fish and chips ever. Cold beer and much more. Good dockage. Always confirm their hours that they are open. Bruce the dog is always happy to see you. They have a great menu with plenty of choices to ponder and the prices are decent.. Very friendly staff. A must try.

The Waubic is my all time favorite destination on the Severn waterway. The family run restaurant inspires memories of my childhood at the cottages we used to visit. The food is amazing, the atmosphere friendly and fun, the dogs adorable, and most of all Karen and her family bring such a warmth and kindness that it feels like family every time I go there. Sitting on my boat and watching all the boaters come in from morning to night and sometimes waiting for a long period of time shows that this place is worth the visit! Their fish and chips are one of the things that bring many people back, and all the freshly baked goodies are a great way to end your meal. It is also amazing to sit on the patio in the summer, enjoying great food, hearing the boats go by and listening to Steve Ryan play!! This is my favorite place for a reason!!
