I’ve been to this location a number of times for my plant based burger combo but usually through the drive-thru. Last time I went into the restaurant and was super impressed with the counter staff. They were very welcoming and informative about what they offered. The young lady who helped me was all over the dining room cleaning and tidying as well as greeting customers and taking orders. It was noticeable, and I look forward to my next visit. Well done team A&W Collingwood!

Attended this A&W location in Collingwood last night (Jan 8) at around 8pm. It wasn’t busy at all, in fact we were the only ones there. Waited a few minutes to order and once we began ordering the employee got distracted by a broken machine. Finally began to order and were notified that the pop machine was down. Once our order was completed and we were given it several items were missing. By this time I stood at the counter a good 5-6 minutes waiting to get the forgotten burger and 2 drinks and was ignored, finally the cook had to tell the person out front that the burger sitting behind the counter was for me and getting cold. I finally got it but the drinks still weren’t ready. I went back to my food and it is now understandably cold. We were 90% done our meal when the 2 drinks were finally ready. During all this time the restaurant did get another 8-10 patrons. The girl working was overrun, she tried her best but she was running drive thru, and the counter with a bunch of broken equipment. While 2 other coworkers sat in the restaurant lobby. Returning to work once the rush was over. Shame on the management and ownership for setting this young girl up for failure with poor scheduling and malfunctioning equipment.
