Excellent pub! My wife and stopped in for supper tonight, and after a short wait, we had a table! Staff here are VERY friendly and polite (and approachable), the food is excellent, and the prices don't hurt the wallet that much.
We will most definitely be back at some point!!

*** Updated: back again in summer this time and did not disappoint - if I could upgrade the 5* I would ***
As pubs go there is nothing to fault with this one - relative to what it promises it definitely delivers, and more!
We came back on Labour Day, weather was fantastic so it was busy as you might expect. The staff were good at communicating situation and looking after regulars as well as visitors - we felt well taken care of (I’m sure by a guy who was the owner as well as the host) and waited only a very short time to get the exact spot we wanted on the patio with some shade. Drinks came fast from a very friendly server. We both went for house-made burgers this time, a pitcher to share and kids had good sized fresh meals - our 3 eat very well but they could well have shared one grilled cheese and one burger meal between them - burger looked adult size and fries definitely were. Included ice cream for the kids is good bonus.
Original review:
Fantastic place for lunch with the kids between skating and skiing. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere. We stopped by Friday lunchtime and bar was full of guys - young and old - and a few other mixed groups in but our family felt right at home. Sports on TV but not oppressively loud, good buzz to drown out the occasional complaint from the kids. Reasonable kids menu $11 included drink and dessert. Kids meals came out huge, dessert was two scoops and did not disappoint. We both had the ski Club sandwiches which were equally filling at $21 each with whole grilled chicken breast and peameal. Full bar selection - plenty on tap. Dessert irish coffee also very good. Would definitely come back next time in Collingwood.

While visiting the area we went to have dinner on a Friday night, the place was packed and for good reason. Brief wait for a table and it was worth it. Food and service were excellent. So good in fact we went back the next night for dinner again.

My husband and I stopped by this delightful location while visiting Collingwood.
The food was absolutely amazing. Patio was welcoming. Chicken tacos were very flavourful. (Gotta get cheese on them)!! Will definitely be back!

Best wings. I've had the chicken mac and cheese before it was also very good but the portion was super small for the price. You only get a few tiny slices of chicken and a handful of noodles.
Great outdoor pub good music. Variety items on menu.

I had the chicken curry. Great curly with just the right amount of spice. I do like it on the spicier side. Will definitely order it again.

I ordered chicken wings and sweet potato fries. The wings are always amazing and worth the money. The sweet potato fries on the other hand, were $10 only to get less than half of my container full of sweet potato fries. I have ordered these in the past and have had a full plate/ full container when ordering take out. I feel ripped off. I had waited an extra 16 minutes waiting for my takeout order. I really wish I had looked at the food in the containers before getting home.
