My husband and I visit here often and the food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal, and the staff are always so welcome and friendly, even when they are busy and likely short staffed. We will continue to return here!

We went to Duncan's for a Saturday breakfast treat and were very pleased by the food, coffee and service. All five star as far as we're concerned and reason to make it a weekly event! Kudos to the owners and staff for a great place to eat in downtown Collingwood.

Maybe on another day you might score better, when you have proper staffing and a cook that knows the difference between a red and green pepper.
I would have ordered the Greek omelet but didn't want green peppers. So I ordered the Veggie omelet which was supposed to be red peppers. Its a big difference in flavour. I wanted the feta that came with the Greek and so had to pay and extra $4.00. The toast was so cold when buttered that the butter didn't melt and was inedible. How can you screw up toast? Make it too far ahead of the omelet! We asked for jam, and salsa, but the salsa never showed up. I did tell the server, who didn't care and commented on how busy she was. Service was horrible,we had to ask for a coffee refill for my husband as she never came by. I had a tea, which was lukewarm and when she
refilled my husbands cup she covered my remaining tea by pouring coffee in my cup. We had to askfor the bill - twice. The omelet was good, except the cook put way too much feta, bacon and eggs were good, potatoes had no flavorings.
What a disaster. Like I said, maybe on another day.

April was our server and she was so wonderful. The mimosas use fresh orange juice with an orange juice ice cube. They were fantastic. The Greek omelet used high quality feta and seemed to have caramelized the tomatoes and onions beforehand. Best omelet I’ve had in a long time.
(I also saw another server bring out a container of hot water so that a family could heat up baby milk in a safe way. Super considerate.)
Finally, the are is great!

Fantastic spot for breakfast. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was truly freshly squeezed and crazy good; even better with a little champaign in it!
I'll definitely be back.

Great little cafe/diner with a cool atheistic, Art by assumed local artists adorns the walls. Food was quite good as was the latte and cappuccino we ordered, only downside to the whole place was the potatoes, tasted old or re fried and were too large and not crisp.
