I ordered takeout, and the experience was alright. I was hoping to order polluck but it was sold out, so i ended up spending double the price to order hallibut instead, which was fine. I also upgraded to a poutine. The order was missing my coleslaw, which would have been a nice break from the rest of the fried food. It also didn't come with a house made tartar sauce or lemon wedge which I thought was odd. The poutine was good but some of the fries were undercooked. I wasn't blown away but may be worth another try.

We’ve been regular patrons at Fish and Sips since they’ve first opened and we’ve never been disappointed. We don’t get the chance to dine in as regularly as we want in recent years but it’s still a staple for us when it comes to take out. The owners are fantastic and have been so accommodating since day one. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment, it’s hands down my favourite restaurant to frequent outside the one I work at.
If you’re looking for amazing fish and chips with fantastic customer service, Fish and Sips will never let you down. An easy 10/10.

When you go to a fish and chips spot, you expect the fish and seafood to be the highlight. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The calamari was bland and mostly small, broken bits of batter that seemed like they came from the bottom of a frozen bag. The fish was very thin and small, which made the meal disappointing overall. It’s always a bad sign when the best part of your meal ends up being the beverage. I’d like to think that this was a bad day for them and not always the case.

A typical English fish and chip place. Real French fries (not the frozen type). Quick and friendly service.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and was not disappointed! The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the fries were so crispy and fluffy on the inside. Loved the option of grilled fish and the fish tacos were delicious!
The service was quick with our hostess Abbie quickly seating us and Michelle our server providing great service! The restaurant is large, bright and welcoming.

Discovered Fish & Sips while visiting Collingwood and stopped by based on the reviews.
I was not disappointed. The cod and chips (with mushy peas) was excellent. The cod was perfectly cooked - crispy batter and flaky, tender fish - and the chips were delicious. The best fish and chips I have had outside of the UK!
Service was great and the indoor seating area spacious and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again.
