I had high hopes for Freshii, especially since I’ve enjoyed healthy food from similar places many times before. The service was friendly and quick, and I could tell the ingredients were fresh and nutritious. However, the meal itself was disappointing. It lacked flavor, and the overall taste was too bland for my liking. I understand that the focus is on clean eating, but healthy food doesn’t have to be this tasteless. A little more seasoning or creativity with the flavors would have made a huge difference. While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients, the lack of flavor really put me off.

I ordered the Fiesta salad with chicken. For $17 (tax included), my ‘salad’ had a measly amount of greens (1/3 bowl max), was swimming in dressing that did NOT taste anything like cilantro lime (it was sweet and berry tasting) and although there was chicken, I am certain there was tuna in it as well due to taste and smell. In fact, when I took the lid off, all I could smell was tuna and my friend asked me why I ordered tuna on my salad! I know restaurants are trying to make money and cutting back, but this wasn’t even a handful of lettuce. Unacceptable for the price. Service was chef’s kiss however and the shop was clean.

Ordered Buddha Satay and was very disappointed! I had to tell the girl to leave my noodles in the water to get hot because she was going to take them out immediately after putting them into the hot water. Should have watched closely after that because I had hardly any noodles, way too much sauce, and my chicken was so cold it cooled the whole dish.
Edit: Not sure what has happened to Freshii recently, but the food was SO bad? Rice was crunchy and the steak was dry and cold. I don't know what happened. This place used to be my favourite, but now I'm disappointed!
Wonderful place to eat! Their bowls are very delicious. The young man (I believe he was Indian) working last night (December 11) at 7 pm was very kind. I have seen him working other times I've gone and he is very kind and respectful. The food is just as great as the service.

They don't sell steak, it is plant based meat but they will out right lie and tell you it is steak. Shady place never going back!
