Went there a few weeks ago with my elder parents and my kids. Service was good, even though it was super busy. I had a sandwich and it was delicious, but I regret not getting the omelette. Hands down the best omelette I've ever had here in Canada. Huge, affordable and delicious. All the portions are good sized but the omelette has my heart and stomach. Definitely will be back in my next visit to Blue mountain.

Food was off the charts - best breakfast place in Canada. Simple choices, makes from scratch and big portions. A farm to table type experience first thing in the morning at good value.

What a lovely little breaky spot downtown Collingwood.
Cozy and great service. However the food was mediocre, tasteless and bland. There's nothing Greek about the Greek style Eggs Benny... whatsoever.
I also found the potatoes to be very dry ... little disappointing on my solo trip.
I'll definitely try it again next time I'm back.

We came to Collingwood with the intention of trying out a few breakfast places and ended up here for breakfast ... 3 days in a row 😂 Thank you Dana, Caitlin and Vito for such great service and a huge thank you to the chefs for such yummy food đŸ€€ We'll be back next time we're in town.

The restaurant is a gem. We had a group of 8 for breakfast. The food was great - well prepared, hot and generous portions. Service was exceptional - timely and attentive. I would highly recommend MEK!

Easiest 5/5 of my life. Also, vegetarians: their portobello melt is the best sandwich I've ever had.

We were Immediately drawn by the beautiful decor (vibes are just as good in person), felt welcome by the staff, and the food is fantastic.

My husband and I went to MEK on his birthday. It was a Saturday morning, so relatively busy with the brunch rush, but even then we got seated within 2 minutes of getting to the hostess’s stand. Our server, Matea, was the sweetest and provided phenomenal service.

The coffee was super smooth and flavourful. I got the tomato toast with a side of home fries and added bacon, everything tasted super fresh. My husband got the MEK bowl and the portion was more than enough for us to split and feel comfortably full until dinnertime.

We also bought out their bagels to bring home, they’re so fluffy and they have that signature Montreal sweetness.

Highly recommend checking out if you’re in the area!

Visited for brunch. Large portions, can be shared if you are not a big eater. Definitely recommend the chili chutney on the side with the eggs. Pancakes were nice and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

Service was subpar. Waitstaff was more engaged in talking to one another than paying attention to the guests.
Bathrooms were dingy and poorly lit, really dirty.

Would recommend the owner pays more attention to updating the bathrooms, and with regards to their upkeep.
As for the food, would suggest offering real maple syrup instead of “breakfast syrup”. The veggies in the hash were chopped in really large pieces. Suggest chopping them into smaller bite sized pieces that would make it a more delightful experience to eat!

Good effort, but we think they need to iron out a few things. The sides of potatoes served were soft and pale in colour and not crispy as they appear in the photos on the website. The rest of the meals were absolutely fine. They also did not come around with coffee refills enough despite the staff being very friendly and trying very hard. They could be understaffed as they appeared to be run off their feet. They should invest in some acoustical panels for the large main dining room at the back where the most of the seating resides. It was full and you could barely here each other talk. Collingwood definitely needed another breakfast place since the Red Hen closed down and they are definitely a good add to main street and just need a few improvements.
