A very solid spot for a homestyle brunch. We tried their protein bowl and an omelette, I'll say the portion for value here is quite good. The staff here were also very hospitable even when things were pretty busy for them.
This was our first visit to MEK and will not be our last. We knew this restaurant was opening in the past year and included it on our go-to list.
One of us had what can be described only as the "perfect eggs benedict" while the other one of us had a truly "classic club sandwich" - not the wannabe club - it had fresh chicken, 3 pieces of bread and all the fixings - a true classic taste.

Born and raised in Collingwood, had breakfast there today and went down a trip to memory lane. Remembered all the stores that used to be "downtown" when we were kids. A People's store used to be in that building and they've kept some of the old stores history on the ceiling.. .very kewl. Even saw a friend I went to public school with. Always a good day when you see Ted F.
