Prime Seven Nine is quickly becoming my favourite spot in Collingwood! The ambience is great, the food is incredible, and the service (special shout-out to Len!) makes the whole experience even better.
We started with the gyoza so flavourful, with just the right spicy kick. Easily my new favourite appetizer. The truffle fries were a must-try as well. For mains, the steak frites was perfectly cooked, and the penne with Tuscan chicken was rich and delicious.
To top it all off, the turtles cheesecake (locally sourced) was absolutely to die for.
If you’re in Collingwood, definitely add Prime 79 to your list! you won’t regret it!

Wonderful meal Last night - steak was perfectly cooked… my dining mate enjoyed their pasta , shared a Caesar salad…very good - Martin at the bar looked after us - wine list is varied and Fairly large Dessert was made locally (chocolate cake) Highly recommended

**Food: excellent flavour, once they cook it right. Price, insane. * Table next to us had to send back 2 expensive steaks because they brought well done instead of medium. Yup, in the garbage they went.... we asked. **Service: The reason we will never go back. Friendly enough, but definitely rushed us out. When asked if we were done with our plates, he took all the drinks as well. No time to look over bill, brought machine with the bill. * After 24 minutes, we asked about our meal, front staff were very blunt after they looked at their tablet and said, well done steaks take over 23 minutes... actually it's 7.5min/side. Were very blunt/rude about it. ** Atmosphere: Nice decor, but felt like a canned sardine. **** 2 Meals, 2 drink, $144.54 (before tip). ***** Steak Frites: Fries as the only choice, really? NO mashed or baked potatoes? If so, not offered. No ketchup offered. NO VEGGIES either. Just steak & fries. ****** Tuscan Chicken: NO parmesan offered and left so fast, no time to ask. I'm sure it would have been an extra $10. ******* Martini $18.00 ******* Expresso Martini $19 Meal prices are too high, and drink prices are insane... highway robbery.

Food was good. We had a reservation and was sat at a table off to the side near some stairs down to the basement. The entire meal, we were both swarmed by fruit flies. Landing on our plates, in my wine, landing on my face. Not pleasant. Will not be back just for this reason.

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Prime Seven Nine. The atmosphere was great, the service was very pleasant, the service was quick for a restaurant of this calibre, and the food was amazing. My only issue was with their non-alcoholic drink options. As someone trying to avoid alcohol, the selection was poor outside of soft drinks/pop. However, overall a great place that we will return to when in Collingwood.

We were out for a girls night and had the ribs at Prime, they were amazing. My mom even said they may be the best she has had. To finish off our meal we had the chocolate cake which was also amazing.

We came to Prime Seven Nine to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had the most amazing experience. The appetizers were incredible — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — and the drinks were spot on. The patio had such a fantastic vibe, it honestly felt like we were in South Beach. The service was excellent, and our server Kai took great care of us, making the evening feel so special. Highly recommend this place for a celebration or night out — it’s a gem!

My partner and I came here for a date night on vacation. I had the steelhead special and it was delicious. He got the ribs and they were disappointing. The sauce was bland and the rack was burnt. Also, the setting sun was in our eyes and the wait staff said there was no shade for it.
