San Diego Italian Restaurant

We loved it.. best spaghetti and tomato sauce I've ever had... felt like we were in Italy...

This is the absolute best place to eat in Collingwood. Jana was such an incredible hosts I felt like I was great at home. The food was totally out of this world and really tasted incredible. And the portion size was too much that I was happy to take some home for the next day. The most beautiful place in Collingwood I would go there every single time I go there thank you to Jana for making me feel at home

The food was awesome.

I have eaten in this restaurant over the years and the one constant is it’s unbelievably delicious...the other constant is the rudeness of the wait staff (Jana)...in the middle of a pandemic, the worst week to date, Jana, the owners wife, while waiting on us refused to put on her mask...instead, choosing to wear it hanging off her ear. After asking her to please put on her mask, she then gave us the option of leaving if we weren’t happy. That’s exactly what we did...leave!!! Emilio is an amazing chef, but unfortunately I will never enjoy his penne ala vodka with shrimp again. They are in the service industry and she (Jana) absolutely doesn’t know what good service means.

Had a great dinner celebrating our birthday...food was fantastic and service was outstanding...definitely will be back when in the area ??

Extremely rude owner. Opened the door at quarter to 9 and was asked why I didn’t read the hours on the door which state they close at 9. I apologized for showing up 15 minutes before they close and mentioned that the glowing neon Open sign was much more eye catching than the fine print on the door. Will not be trying this establishment again.

We just had a wonderful dinner in Sandiego Restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Nice quiet dining room .. most enjoyable. Excellent service!

My daughter and I were looking for authentic Italian that offered curbside pick up during Covid-19. I've been coming to Collingwood for years and had never tried San Diego Italian. The food was piping hot and delicious and the owner is lovely!! We had penne with home made tomato sauce and the shrimp special with pasta. Delicious! thank you!

Absolutely delicious Italian food! Nice atmosphere and the owners are lovely. This place really deserves more than 5 stars.
