Ill beging with this place having great service. Kerry was serving me and I couldn't have any bad words for her if I tried. The food was delicious. And was delivered in a timely matter. This is my new favorite establishment in Collingwood for food.

Everything was great, the decor is fanatic, food was fresh a delicious, we had the pretzels to start, fresh, warm and tasty. I had the alphorn burger with spetzle and my husband had the same but with the rosti instead. With were fantastic. Server was great. Would go back next time we're in town

Our lunch was terrible. We ordered the appetizer pretzels and they were still frozen in the middle. No authentic homemade style pretzel. We ordered dry overcooked snitzel for $25 and the grilled cheese was terrible as well. The service wasn’t great either. Our waitress seemed annoyed by us and forgot to bring us a mayo we asked for. I don’t know how this place has 4.3 stars it was terrible.

Positive experience! Surprisingly they have delicious gluten free bread with breakfast - and literally the best cappuccinos in the area. Service was warm and efficient and the seating is comfortable. Decor is dated, but fun and kitschy. Really enjoyed our breakfast there.

Great restaurant with delicious food and fun decor. The waiter we had was wonderful and friendly. Beef stronganoff was excellent as was the farmers platter. We will definitely be turning to this gem of a restaurant.

Had a really good burger!
Our server was lovely - attentive, and friendly.
My friend and I stopped by for lunch on the last Tuesday before September starts. We were the only ones there and were quite pleased with the care and food. Would absolutely go back!

The Alphorn is by far one of our favorites. The owner and staff are amazing. The food speaks for itself. The schnitzel and cheese fondue are on point every single time. 10/10

Our family recently dined at The Alphorn and were thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service.

We initially called and spoke with Jordan, who informed us that there were available tables and enough time to dine before the kitchen closed. Upon our arrival, Jordan greeted us warmly and ended up serving us that evening. His professionalism and spot-on recommendations were greatly appreciated.

We all enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel with Rösti and Spätzle. Kevin did an excellent job preparing the schnitzel, making it juicy and subtly flavored, closely resembling the authentic style. We also tried an order of the Alphorn Hunter sauce to compare the different flavors, and both were delightful.

I highly recommend dining at The Alphorn while in the Collingwood/Blue Mountain area. It offers a unique dining experience and exceptional service.

Great little Swiss restaurant. Alpine/ski theme and decorations. Good prices given the area often has inflated tourism prices. Not a huge menu. Furnishings are old and could use an update but otherwise loved it. Hope to return and try more in the future.
