I had read great reviews about this place before going. I love sushi and maki and was excited to go to place closer to home. Firstly, I had to wait for a table I was told would be shared? Confusing. I ordered spicy cucumber salad, miso soup, house salad, shrimp tempura, sashimi, and a rainbow dragon roll. The spicy cumber salad wasn’t even close to the traditional, it was some form of gochujang paste and cucumber, definitely not traditional as it wasn’t marinated long enough in the right ingredients. Tempura and miso soup were forgotten as the servers were too busy talking to a table of 10. The miso soup that didn’t come out was still added to my bill. The rainbow dragon roll wasn’t even a full roll length. They placed the thinnest pieces of fish on top without rolling them within the roll and the pieces were literally falling apart. Nothing like advertised on their social media. Please refer to photos. Finally the sashimi was tiny and overpriced. Definitely will not be back. A sumo would leave here famished even after spending $100.00.

Service was great. The place was empty when we were there on a weeknight, not sure why because the sushi was excellent. Lots of choices, good portion sizes. Cocktails were thoughtfully curated, should’ve got a picture. Definitely the spot for sushi in Collingwood.

Recently went there and was greeted promptly and we were informed that due to a problem with their cooking appliances they could only serve cold items. We decided to stay and enjoyed salads, miso soup and a bunch of sushi. We are so glad we chose to stay as the food was really really good. Not the least expensive place but well worth the price. Will go again and happily try some of the cooked food which I suspect will be terrific.

I was here 4 years ago, and I'm back for more sushi! The environment is great, lovely homey decor , friendly service, and great food. It is also pretty convenient to get to , from blue mountain.

Absolutely love this place but I’m super frustrated with their take out ordering system. Tried calling multiple times, spread out, within their first 45 minutes of opening to absolutely no response even though their website and Google says they are open. This isn’t the first time this has happened either. It’s getting a little ridiculous and they’re 100% losing business because of it. You need a new system.
