Not sure what to expect. Collingwood has many places that could be amazing, but let you down for one reason or another. The Tremont Cafe did not disappoint in any way.The decor is lovely, staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. We were a party of 8 for an anniversary brunch. Everyone was well taken care of and very happy with everything about the meal. The appetizer was seared tuna with a lovely herb rub and tahini sauce, perfectly cooked and very tasty.I really enjoyed the Smoked Trout hash - every aspect of the dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked from the vinaigrette salad base through the salt and crunch in the potato hash, perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise (so much better than Poppy's) and the amount of smoked trout.I would have paid more for this dish it made me so happy and was so delicious!!!I can't remember the name of the dessert - cheese, phyllo and cream anglaise? or fresh? It was delightful. The Bitter Rosso mocktail was delicious as was their Aperol Spritz and coffees.Every aspect of the meal was enjoyable (what a delightful little motif on the tang of the knife) and we want to thank the chef and staff for such yummy food and a lovely brunch ?

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Everything we ate was so delicious. Staff was so attentive and professional, giving us exactly the right amount of attention at all times. We learned that the owners are Palestinian and Greek, which explained the extraordinary hospitality and unique dishes, like the shankleesh and perfectly seared tuna with zaatar and very light tahini sauce.Overall, this has been the best dining experience that this Toronto couple has had in years! The Tremont Cafe is now one of our destinations whenever we come to Collingwood and it should be for you too!Thank you Imad and team for this unforgettable birthday dinner!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, the occasion was my solo birthday and this place was a fantastic spot for me.I arrived about 20 minutes early and friendly staff greeted me without any problem. I have seated, right away they brought a treat drink for my birthday, what a nice thought. Costumers were also very nice, everyone was friendly and overall the place has great ambiance.I ordered scallops, duck confit and toffee pudding. Every single one of them was delicious. Finally when they brought my dessert with a candle, everyone sang a birthday song and it was flattered my heart!! Thank you so much for your service, hoping to see you soon!Parking: Street parking is free on the weekends

We went there for my partners and my 3 year anniversary. I was really excited to go based on the reviews and the menu. Our server was very nice but there was no acknowledgement of us celebrating our special event despite it being mentioned by my partner and included in our notes for our reservation. We also both felt like we were rushed out of there. We arrived for 8:15 and we were out the door by 9:15. The restaurant was still busy and very full so I found it very odd. I also found it strange how they pack the diners in like sardines in a tin can. Truly the food was phenomenal but we were both disappointed on where we spent our anniversary.

Absolutely one of the best food experiences you can have. Stunning dishes, beautifully presented. We tried their brunch and their 6 course meal dinner and both were beyond our expectations. For people with taste its a must try.

We were lucky enough to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant during our getaway to Blue Mountain. We parked the car to go to a neighboring restaurant but saw how lovely Tremont was and had to check out the menu. The service was spectacular— everyone was warm and inviting. It’s usually hard to find a restaurant that has excellent options for plant based (me) and omnivores (husband). The hen of the woods was a truly memorable dish— so well thought out. I’m still thinking about it a week later. The meal was so special that it’s worth building a weekend trip around! We will certainly be back.

Visited the Tremont Cafe on January 6th 2024 for a romantic dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Both my partner and myself were absolutely blown away with how friendly, professional and accommodating the staff were. From the moment we sat down and were treated to some complementary champagne, we knew it was going to be a special evening. We opted for the tasting menu with a wine pairing and were really impressed with the quality of the food that was being served (I would definitely echo some of the other reviewers when I say this place deserves more recognition). In particular the scallop dish and the beef wagyu dish really stood out as exceptional.Thank you so much to the staff for making it such a memorable experience. If you are ever in Collingwood I would highly recommend you try The Tremont Cafe.
