We used The Smoke for 2 nights of takeout/catering for a big party up north. Cam spoke to me personally and helped us decide on what to get, amounts and even wanted to know when we'd be serving specific items. Everything came packed individually according to when it was going to be served, with specific reheating instructions on each item. We had Ribs, wings, chicken, brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, beans & slaw. The price was incredible for the amount of food we received. No one was left hungry and we all had some extra to take home at the end of the weekend. The food was amazing! Moist & tender meats, delicious sidee. I was being congratulated on the food like I'd just won the Superbowl, and all I really did was reach out to Cam. In an age where it's very hard to find great service, Cam & his staff went above and beyond any expectations. Truly a wonderful experience from the first phone call to the moment where many of us fell into a meat coma! Thank you to Cam and the staff at The Smoke for making celebration with lifelong best friends an easy and worry-free event!

Delicious and generous portions. Relaxed atmosphere with great music that wasn’t blaring. Clean, gender neutral bathroom. We had one order of Beef Brisket Poutine, Garden salad and honestly ate far too much even though we shared it!! Overall great experience and will definitely return.

Our server was out of this world great and food were excellent but I would not recommend this place as the owner made it clear that this isn’t family friendly and was incredibly rude today.
We were just enjoying family time when our ONE year old was being loud, upon asking her to quiet down the owner of the restaurant turned around and told the baby “yah because other people are here” If you are not willing to have families come and dine don’t bother have a restaurant. Thanks for being rude to a literal baby.

I wasn’t going to post but after having to stop and get food after spending $150 there I felt I should say something.
I got the sampler and the brisket, wings, and pulled pork were tough and the sauce tasted like ketchup and vinegar with sugar. The cornbread had zero flavour whatsoever, Ended up not eating any of it.
My kid got a burger, and would usually eat anything and her exact words were “this is gross” so she didn’t eat her burger either.
Service was perfectly fine.

5 stars just doesn't do this place justice!! Amazing, full of flavor, friendly staff and knowledgeable. We had the privilege of having Danielle as our waitress. When asked about the gluten-free options, she smiled and pointed to almost 100% of thier menu. She took the time to explain their precautions and how thier procedure on taking every precaution to ensure a safe dinning experience. 1000% would recommend the food here. Amazing all around.

Wow! doesn’t describe it the food, atmosphere, the staff and knowledge they have for those that are gluten-free/celiac. Danielle, was amazing!! Friendly, Knowledgeable, spunky, and answered our questions as my wife is Celiac. If anyone is in the area you have you stop in!! I only wish there was one in my hometown of St.Thomas. but well worth a weekend trip up!!! Very well done to the team!!!

Good smoke flavour, but accessibility was a major hurdle The food had a good smoke flavor and was enjoyable, but my overall experience was severely impacted by the lack of accessibility. Navigating the restaurant on crutches was incredibly challenging, and I felt completely overlooked. Even getting to the restaurant was difficult, as I had to walk through branches on the sidewalk just to reach the entrance. Once there, every door presented a significant barrier. I struggled immensely to open the main entrance, the patio door, and even the washroom door. When you're on crutches, wet hands are already a problem, but the washroom layout made it difficult to dry them. Having to wash my hands in one spot and then hop to another to dry them, all while trying to avoid putting weight on a broken foot, was an unnecessary and frustrating ordeal. While the food was decent, the complete lack of accessible features made for a very difficult and disheartening visit. I hope the restaurant considers these issues to make it a more welcoming place for all customers.
