Been driving through Combermere for a few years and saw the Ukranian sign, for the first time. Stopped and had a wonderful meal. Over the top Ukranian family runs the place. Do an excellent job of food and ambience. Have been back several times.

First time to try Ukrainian food in my life and I am 100% satisfied with it!This place is highly recommended. Honestly I have no idea if Ukrainian is like this or not,but just the taste of food here is good enough for me to spend the entire autumn. Wordless to describe everything in this place but check my photos! This is the restaurant you have to visit and try on vacation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a lovely little restaurant, smells so inviting as soon as you walk in the door, like Babcias house! Not fancy but very clean. Homemade food was very good. Took home some homemade torte cause we were too full to enjoy them at the time, so glad we did. Highly recommend the honey torte, it was perfectly lightly sweetened.

Great place, highly recommended, one of the best things we ate in North America. We had Borscht (an Ukrainian soup) and Ukrainian Pierogies, both very tasty. Very friendly staff.

Delicious! Had a cabbage roll, 4 potato, cheese and bacon pierogies with sour cream and 2 homemade garlic butter brush rolls. It was fresh, hot and ample food for one person. Bought 2 dozen uncooked potato, cheese and bacon pierogies to take home since I live over 2 hours away and it was a beautiful day for a drive to try out this Ukrainian restaurant. Definitely worth the drive! Will definitely return and this time add cabbage rolls to take home that I can freeze along with the frozen pierogies for 3 separate dinners for 2 people. The ladies that own the restaurant and make the food were busy and friendly. The prices were on par with the amount of work to make all the difference delicious homemade food they serve in this bright and clean restaurant.

The true taste of Ukraine right in beautiful Combermere, just south of Barry’s Bay. Owned and operated by a pair of Ukrainian sisters, the food is outstanding. Generous in portions and full of flavour. Well worth the detour.
