I ordered take out dinner for 7 people . The food was hot and delicious.
I ordered earlier in the day and got there 10 mins early . I didn't want it sitting there long . They where working on our order when we got there. It was excellent.

Disappointed, ordered with a specified pick up time, arrived a couple minutes early , order was sitting on the counter when I walked in. Person working was friendly and pleasant. Got home a <5 minute drive and food was lukewarm ! Soup needed to be heated to be consumed. Remaining food was barely warm enough to eat but needed to be heated. The food tasted ok, would have been much better had it been fresh and hot or even very warm. Prices were a little high but on par with everything else. It loses its value when it needs to be reheated in order to eat it……considering this location is take out only - this needs to be improved upon , if there was competition in the area I’m positive this would impact their business
You can do better

Fast service and good food!
Only thing I wish is that they wouldn't put the house platter items all in one small box. Almost all the wonton chips were broken and spare ribs were at the bottom covered in crumbs!
Definitely would recommend this place for good Chinese food though!

I have eaten at many Chinese food establishments over the years. Golden Palace, by far, has the very best wonton soup and egg rolls. There is something about the seasoning of the wonton and the egg rolls which keep me wanting more. My only criticism, is I wish there were more wontons in their soup. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Great food, especially for gluten free. Very pleased with quality and flavour.
Dietary restrictions: Celiac therefore require gluten free, no issues with dishes selection

Been ordering here for over 35-40 years but never again. Called for a take out order tonight was put on hold for 12 minutes. Obviously forgotten. Pick up my order to take home and left a decent tip for take out, got home and found out I got the wrong shrimp with my order. Ordered bacon wrapped butterfly shrimp but I got battered shrimp. Back I go for a second time. They admitted they got it wrong, my bill had what I ordered on it but it’s not what I got. The owner charged me 2.50 plus tax for the difference and asked me if I brought the battered shrimp back. I said I was in a hurry to get back before my first order got cold, so no I didn’t bring the shrimp back. He said I will charge you for the difference then unless I go back for the shrimp. I told the owner I made two trips already, I was put on hold and forgotten about for ten minutes and you admittedly messed up the order. I left a decent tip originally so I said take the 2.50 out of the tip but he refused. I said what are you going to do with the shrimp if I bring them back? Give them to someone else? It was a very bad experience from the start. I will never give them my business again, nor will I recommend it. The owner obviously forgot how he got where he is today. It’s not just the local plants. It’s the little people that work in the local plants!!! Very disappointed to say the least and I will add that the food was not great.. not at all like it used to be.

Restaurantji Recommends
To be completely fair I was told the Chicken Soo Guy was very good. I was also told the sweet and sour chicken balls were adequate at best. Not a lot of vegetarian options which is very strange for Asian cuisine. Managed to get a vegetable noodle dish and it was food. It had no flavor to it, the noodles tasted like they’d been boiled in water then plated in the take out container. The vegetables were 90% onion, 3 pieces of broccoli, 4 pieces of carrot, one snap pea and a couple water chestnuts. Very underwhelming at best and this particular restaurant is extremely expensive (for contrast we had tried to order elsewhere, where they had more food on our order (nearly double), rave reviews but were unfortunately too busy and we were too hungry to wait…big mistake! For $10 more). I’m now forced to cook something to eat anyway for dinner as I’m still starving. Not quite sure how there is such high reviews because this was very un flavorful Chinese cuisine and the service wasn’t good at all. When trying to talk to the girl at the counter she gave off a very combative vibe. Definitely wont be returning!

I was sick all night from the food, really not what it use to be. Also the 2nd time I didn't get fortune cookies. Couple of disappointed kiddos!!! Won't go back for the money spent it's just not worth it.
