Mary Brown's Chicken

Sorry, not sorry. After tonight, I'm done with this location. Again my order was screwed up. To stand there and watch the employees argue about your order and it's still wrong. Then, to see the preparer sneeze on their work station and make some sort of what I can only describe as a spitting action with his lips. On top of that, the piece de resistance, we found a feather in my wife's taters. I've watched the service and food quality at this location over the last 5 years go in the dumps for obvious reasons but because of its close proximity kept going until now. Back to Bowmanville.

Been going here since it opened, Amazing food always fresh and delicious, this place should have a 5 star review no questions asked. Ive gotten close with the workers, one being Harman, shes an amazing person and is very hardworking. Harman always makes sure I get my student discount and remembers my order (big mary).

Undercooked chicken. Very unfriendly staff. No music playing. Uninviting.

The seating is not great, the restaurant is small inside. But the staff are super nice and the food is on POINT. super fresh and they’re so quick!

Way too much sauce on the Buffalo Big Mary burger. I'm talking DRIPPING in sauce. The chicken shouldn't be sliding out of the buns as you take a bite. It's disgusting. Felt like a complete slob trying to eat this thing at home - I couldn't do it and grabbed a nice and fork instead.

As I cut into the chicken, and took my first bite, I realized the chicken was insanely overcooked and very rubbery. I could not finish my burger. Possibly the cook was fine, maybe the chicken was just low quality. Hard to say, really. I couldn't eat more than a couple bites.

The wedge poutine was alright, but it would be impressive to mess that up somehow.

I was at the Courtice Mary Browns today I was paying for my order through the app the gentleman behind the counter was having difficulty and had to scan twice. My Pop-in's were terrible there was a big clump of chicken in the middle of the box which wasn't cooked completely turning me off . I did not receive my 2 sauces/dips which I didn't realize till I arrived home. Not a great experience 😕

The food just isn't very good. The service and atmosphere were nice enough (though the outside chairs were chained together) but the chicken was just boney and had almost no flavour. Overall probably best to go go Chick Fil A to satisfy your chicken craving

We order from here all the time and it's always great but today the chicken breast was not edible. So dry and could not chew it. It was in the batters box which is usually fantastic.
