We work right next door at Dollar Tree and this was my first time getting lunch here. I was excited about trying it. Me and my manager both got the Chicken Souvlaki dinner with rice instead of fries. The food was horrible. The rice was undercooked and extremely crunchy. The salad was ok but the dressing was extremely sour. The garlic bread had no garlic. The chicken also had a very chewy texture to it. This was our first and last time ordering from here. It cost us $22 each for one lunch. Better to go to Ohshawarma where the food is fresh.

There were people inside so we decided to come in. We regret it. It’s dirty to start with. Floors, walls, booths, even if the table was wiped down you could see the smudges. The waiters was nice. I ordered waffle with deep fried chicken and that’s exactly what I got. A piece of chicken on top of a waffle, nothing else. No sauce, no garnish, no fries, no salad (there is an option to purchase it for extra $$). For over $16 it was ridiculous!!! You can tell the diner was not renovated since it opened, old knife that I received was wonky and the handle was moving. Overall, won’t be back ever as it smelled like bleach everywhere yet was visibly dirty and overpriced.

I was really craving turkey, and tired from a busy day, so I decided to stop here for supper last night. It was beside the dollar store I had to go to, and I’d previously had two good breakfasts there. The last time I’d been was in August.
First off, the waitress was very nice and the service was excellent. She was a different waitress than we had before. Both were great.
I ordered a Fanta, as well as the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, vegetables and extra gravy. I was surprised to see it was essentially $20 before tax, but went with it.
The first Fanta I received tasted really watered down. The second was a bit better.
Unfortunately, while the two breakfasts I had there were quite good, the food last night wasn’t much to write home about.
The picture showed beans, but I got cauliflowers and broccoli, including lots of cut up stem. I get that restaurants cycle vegetables, but it was a bit disappointing. I like these vegetables, but they were steamed and were still quite wet. It made the gravy and plate watery.
I got a decent amount of turkey, but not a ton. It was fine.
The mashed potatoes unfortunately also didn’t have too much taste. It made me wish I’d gotten fries.
I was kind of disappointed after spending over $30 after tip.

The restaurant was clean and had a nice aesthetic.
It wasn’t the absolute best breakfast I’ve ever had, but it was quite good and pretty cheap. The service was far better than average though, as the waitress was great.

Came in to eat breakfast with my daughter and was on a strict carnivore diet, I asked the waitress politely if I can possibly get peameal with my $17 dollar meal which included, 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage potatoes and sliced bread. I said I didn’t want any bread or potato and when she returned she fought with the chef to get me a substitute which I don’t remember asking for but was nice of her to try and get for me instead of the potato and bread and her comment was the chef said this once but never again. I thought that was kind of rude, never again, interesting response. I thanked them and gave the waitress 20% tip so my meal came to $27 after taxes and tip. I don’t think I will ever come back here, ever again…

I cannot say too much of the food as we didn’t get ours. We waited more than half hour and start seeing people that arrived after us being served. Then the waitress told us she didn’t know what happened with our order. So we said to forget about it and left. The waitress didn’t even say sorry. I am not coming back to this location.

Here you are guaranteed to get a great meal in a retro diner atmosphere every time. This is my favourite breakfast spot by a country mile and I’ll never say no to one of their burgers or souvlaki dinners.
