We came here to try the world’s best carrot cake and it did not disappoint! We also ordered a BLT and Reuben smoked meat sandwich and both sandwiches were well portioned and very tasty. The coffee and peach ice tea were also amazing and refreshing for a hot summer day! Can’t wait to visit this cafe again soon!

Bank Café – Creemore, ON Quaint little café in a quaint little town. Their sign says home of the best carrot cake ever, and it’s actually pretty darn good. Lots of other goodies and pastries behind the counter too. Service was friendly. We were really hoping for some fresh bread—had tomato sandwiches on the brain—but no luck today. Still a nice stop while strolling Creemore.

Best carrot cake I’ve had! (Even better than Bobette and Belle in Toronto in my opinion). Delicious, not too sweet, perfect amount of icing, good amount of nuts for texture.
Got there too late on Saturday to try the cinnamon buns though :(

The bank cafe was a great stop for our visit to Creemore. We got two different sandwiches - the pastrami being our favourite! We also got two iced coffees which were both sharp and tasty. There is not seating available in the cafe and prepare to wait in line because it gets quite busy. The prices were a bit high for the value, but overall a nice spot. We took our lunch to the neighbouring park which was lovely!

After reading the reviews about the carrot cake I had to try it myself. The cake portion was pretty good but the icing did not taste like cream cheese. I was quite disappointed.

I’ve been here twice now. I was first attracted by the claim that they have the best carrot cake. My friend bought a whole carrot cake and it truly was great. Then I went back on Labour Day weekend and had a slice of carrot cake with my coffee. This time the carrot cake was not so great. There wasn’t much evidence of carrots and it was really cheap on the frosting. There was adequate frosting on the outside, but by no means generous. On the inside, where you expect to see clearly delineated layers of frosting, there was next to nothing. You really had to look closely to detect a white line where the layer of frosting should be. Not sure I’ll go back for a third time.

I was visiting the town of Creemore and got intrigued by the "Best Carrot Cake" sign by the entrance of this cafe. While I only tried the carrot cake, since I was still full from lunch, I found it to be quite delicous, and could easily be the best in town. It was well flavoured, moist, and not overly sweet. I would defintely return for more the next time I'm in Creemore.
The cafe offers a variety of beverages, baked goods, frozen meals, along with both grab and go, and freshly prepared breakfast and lunch options. The interior has a warm rustic feel, and the staff here were all very welcoming.
