Visited with husband and friends and loved it! The Breakfast Beacon was the perfect breakfast place. Food, service and price was great. Server was very attentive and quick. They let us know as soon as we arrived that they were cash only, and also had a note on the door. Unsure if this is a one off situation, or if they only accept cash all the time. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast, but please ensure to have cash handy. Can't wait to visit again!

The perfect greasy spoon. The portions were big and delicious - exactly what you want for this type of breakfast. The service was sooo friendly as well! Shoutout to Cathy! For the amount and quality of the food you can't beat the price point as well. Definitely check this spot out when you're in Crystal Beach.

We drank from a dirty glass and then we noticed it was too late. After that we looked at the forks and saw that they were dirty and asked to change them. They brought us forks just like in the photo. We rinsed our mouths with Listerine, but we feel disgusting and are very worried about our health and what we might have contracted in this place.

If you are looking for a hometown family diner, this is the place for you! Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago after always passing by. Food does not have all the bells and whistles but it is delicious home cooking. Service may take a little big longer but so worth it and the prices are great deals! Will make an effort to come back!

It’s a small place with limited employees, so we waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated, despite tables being open. Food was good, kids loved their pancakes! I’d order my bacon “extra crispy” next time, as it was too soft for my liking. Women’s restroom only has one working toilet and the toilet paper was secured poorly to the back of the door. Parking is a bit tight also.
