Called ahead and asked about peanuts to see if it was a safe spot for our child with severe allergies . We were told it was not problem, that their soft serve was peanut free and that they had separate marked tubs for allergies.
Drove over, and the woman working was rude, dismissive and refused to help. She kept repeating “can’t guarantee, can’t guarantee” even after my husband told her about the conversation he had had.
Avoid if you have allergies.

Love the service and the selection. Even when their line up is around the corner they always seem to be in a chipper mood. They always have a huge selection of ice cream unless it's a heat wave on a weekend which would, of course, would increase the demand lol They've become a staple in Crystal Beach that my kids and I look forward to many a summer visit every year.

terrible service the older lady was being very rude when she didn’t have half her flavours at 4pm on a saturday and decided this was the best time to clean the soft serve machine and after all that i’m paying 4$ for one scoop and get a completely empty cone on the inside

Date of visit: Sunday July 16thA hot summer day needs ice cream.The Chill Shack in the heart of Crystal Beach is the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.They offer hard pressed ice cream, soft serve, sundaes and other sweets.They have fun cotton candy covered cones which are fun.The service is great.This is a great place to stop when you are in the cure little village of Crystal Beach.
