After reading other reviews on Google I was not sure what to expect ordering from the Golden Dragon for the first time. However, the food was delicious and we will definitely order from here again! The staff were friendly and welcoming, food hot and plentiful. We enjoyed all our dishes - the sweet and sour spareribs and general tso's chicken we're so scrumptious. No leftovers for us! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality locally made chinese food.

EASILY the worst food I have had..in Chinese form??? Rice was tasteless, barely any chicken instead. NO CHIVES IN THE RICE, REALLY???!!!! The chicken balls were hard as rocks. THE EGG ROLL? ..WAS HALF FULL.!!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!. 20 bucks for 3 item combo, that was just awful. I GIVE IT A ZERO.DO NOT RECOMMEND, OBVIOUSLY?

A very traditional Chinese diner menu and generous portions. The front-end staff was informative, chatty, and quick.

$120 for dinner for two, we got an extra side which barely made it a full meal…. I called to complain and was told nothing has changed in 28 years? although I’ve ordered from here dozens of times in the past decade and always had enough for another meal the next day…. Ignorant owner cutting corners and over charging people! Sad to see how bad they are trying to take advantage of people looking for dinner! I will not be ordering there again… and shame on them for giving me trouble when I called to inquire about a half order??

This little gem is one of few I would make sure to do at again if I go back that way!!The waitress couldn't have been more pleasant or fun to talk with and the food could not be improved anymore than it is.We were driving thru and stopped at a motel down the road so went back there to eat.Wow!!! Best Chinese food I've eaten in a very long time and I love Chinese food. The portions were plenty and delicious!!If u happen to be going thru Deep River and hungry be sure to stop there you will not be sorry. It was so good we bought extra to bring back to hotel room for later snack.

This is a great family-owned restaurant. The food and service were awesome. The only drawback is that they’re not open every day, so check before you go.

My rice was crunchy and when I ordered chicken chow mein it didn’t come as noodles it came as a bunch of beans. The prices are also wrong on the website, I was expecting $12 but it was almost $18. Won’t be coming

Ordered takeout. While waiting in the restaurant, I noticed a plate of half eaten chicken on a vacant table in plain view on one of the tables. The chop suey lacked flavour, and the chicken fried rice was dry and way too salty. The won tons in the soup were tiny and the broth was too salty as well. $3 was too much to pay for one very small undercooked spring roll.Disappointing because my previous visits to the Golden Dragon were far more pleasant.

We always get takeout. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth the price, plus they dont skimp on the portion size. We have never had any complaints or problems they are always friendly. The food is always hot and fresh, honestly the best Chinese food in the valley arguably the best i have ever had.The chicken balls actually have a real piece of chicken, not all dough.

Was staying in Deep River for a weekend of snowmobiling. We tried this place on Saturday night and had to come back Sunday night simply because the food was amazing and the service top notch.Hands down the best Chinese food we have ever had. When asked if they could accommodate for celiac I was given a list of many options. The staff were so kind and willing to adjust recipes to ensure it was safe for me to eat. Can’t wait to come back next year to enjoy again.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for celiac

This used to be my favourite place to get Chinese food every other week, but not anymore. Some of the dishes are absolutely amazing but the prices are disgusting! The quality of the food is hit or miss now instead of always being on point. A recent order I made cost about 70.00$ more than any other place in comparison. Please stop increasing your prices unexpectedly by 30%…..
