We loved the food, particularly the Mexican options. What truly impressed us was the staff. They were very helpful and professional, while at the same time they were singing to themselves and genuinely seemed to like working there. It was truly a treat.
Great place. Food was good, service excellent.
My goodness! What a nice spot. My fish and chips order was excellent. No complaints, ill be back. Thank you for the service!
For starters, I would remove the name Santa Fe. This restaurant was attached to a motel. Secondly, the interior was extremely extremely outdated. There is comfortable and cozy, and then there is dull and dreary. This was dull and dreary.
Parking there was ample parking.
Now as for the food. I don’t know but when I went to the one in Pembroke the chips and salsa was complimentary. They made you may 4.00 for them here. For me, the refried beans were extremely bland, the chimichanga I ordered was actually pretty good, the rice also was very bland. The little salad was good. My spouse ordered penne jambalaya. He wasn’t overly impressed with it and ended up with a huge chunk of fat that he left on the table.
The service was ok. The lady was friendly but what did not impress me was the fact that while we still had our plates the waitress grabbed our Parmesan off our table and handed to another table without even wiping it down.
We came here as I was craving Santa Fe as we no longer have it in Pembroke and can confirm we will not be returning to this location.
56.00 for both our meals, plus the tortillas and salsa and we got only water.
Personally change the name to pub or something. But that’s just a personal opinion seeing as they seem to have many regulars there (drinkers).
5 star service and food⭐️The breakfast was perfect 👌
It's a really cozy restaurant but somehow feels like it's lost it's theme...they serve amazing Mexican cuisine but the interior of the restaurant does not match the menu!!! Friendly staff and amazing food just seems struggling to find their identity!
Great place with delicious food and great atmosphere 👌
Small town, real restaurant feel. A nice break from the franchises. My steak was perfectly seasoned & cooked to perfection. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Photo is the results of a happy customer....we will be back!!

Very expensive. Very poor service. Food was not worth the price. Fajita beef was tough and inedible. Won't be going back.

This restaurant was great! It had a kids menu that also delivered an icecream treat for dessert (and treasure chest small candy trove for kids after). Everything was homemade. I had chilli and garlic bread and we were given warmed up nachos with homemade salsa (yummy) on the house given the restaurant was full and there was only one waitress. Food still came out timely and delicious. Don’t be deceived by the location (looks like it is a part of a motel/residence area), it is a yummy small town gem!

I only get back to Deep River every year or two now, as I live out of the country. But in all times I've come to the Santa Fe over the years, I've never had a bad meal or bad service. I've walked away as a happy customer on every occasion, and that's not easy to do!
Hidden gem! Enjoyed delicious veggie quesadilla and partner had a Greek salad and shrimps in a butter andcheese sauce with garlic toast which he too enjoyed. Outside patio or dine inside. We sat in a large booth and our waitress, Joanna, was lovely . They have a small bar one can sit up at. This restaurant is attached to a motel, Shemron Suites, but we did not stay as camping. Everything in town within walking distance if one were to stay here at the motel. Would definitely return for another meal.
Varied Menu- i.e.steak and prime rib, liver and onions. seafood, pasta, chicken n ribs, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, soup, salads &chili, varied appetizers, Mexican, fajitas - quite impressive!
Wide dessert menu with my favourite - Peanut butter chocolate cheese cake!!
