I visit my parents in Deep River often and was waiting for something like this to open! Great coffee and the scones are the BEST I’ve ever had! I tried the lemon cranberry, mixed berry and cheddar chive - all were AMAZING! I Can’t wait to go back and try the other desserts.

We were wandering around Deep River(camping nearby) and found this little gem of a bakery. We purchased a selection of squares and scones - all very fresh and delicious! The Nanaimo bars were exceptional! The very friendly owner/baker took the time to chat and answer some questions about the town. Very much worth the visit when in Deep River!

I look forward to every visit I have at Sweetened by Shelly. The lattes, the handmade desserts. Everything has a touch of decadence and I think life's too short not to enjoy something sweet. If you're passing through Deep River or live in town and haven't supported this gem, visit! Support a businesswoman putting love into everything she creates. The next thing on my list to try is her selection of jams, jellies, mustards, etc. I want to build a really slamming charcuterie. :)
